Thanks for your kind words Anita and we look forward to welcoming you back in Apt 401 in February. If you liked the Mosquito nets in 311, you will LOVE them in 401 as 401 is even closer to the Sea. The sound of the waves on the beach somehow makes falling asleep even better! It is possible that by then the Promenade will be finished outside Heaven. The Spanish Promenade is an incredible undertaking and something of course that would not be possible in places like France where Beaches are privately owned, but the concept of being able to walk, run or cycle round the whole Coast is fabulous! It might of course deprive some of our more energetic (some say insane) Guests who love opening the gate and going for an early morning barefoot run on the Beach – but, they can always run on the Sand instead of the Boardwalk! Actually, as it is only about 250 Yards till you reach the Promenade, I always feel I have earned my Tikitana or Sonora Beach Bar treats (even an extra Glass of Sangria!) from a little extra exertion, but I’ll find another way to lie to myself!!! It was indeed a pity about Heaven. It was really nice to have, but occasionally they did get a little "overexuberant” – and like with all these Beach Bars, not all the music they play pleases everyone! So, although we were worried about the loss last Summer, it has been incredible. Having the Beach Bar also meant that we became fairly lazy and didn’t try other ones…. We now have probably the most unspoilt beach in Spain – and all we can hear is the Sea – and with a very small amount of extra effort on foot – and even less by car (!) – we can (and do) explore the delights of Barakka, Tikitana, Sonora, Pepes and many others…..
