Full kitchen, 3 TV's, etc. This building includes both a spa and fitness center. Unit is located within the gated community of the King and Bear, which is the only golf course in which both Jack and "Arnie" collaborated on the design. The World Golf Village is also home to the World Golf Hall of Fame and an IMAX Theater.

Love this area and the peacefulness here.

The property has just acquired new ownership and updates are being made to make it more comfy. The owners are very receptive to questions and concerns and the property manager, Jess, is helpful like a family member. We plan to stay again. Carla

Quiet and relaxing

We don't play golf and we're in St Augustine for another reason but we took many walks along the sidewalks that overlooked the greens. It was peaceful and beautiful. The pool was wonderful! Condo has a pool view that has a fountain. You can sit out on the balcony in the early morning and hear the fountain.

Condo living in KIng and Bear

The overall grounds are lovely, quite an enormous sized neighborhood. The pool in the immediate complex for the condo was under repair for the first two weeks I was there. The condo itself is very nice, but it could have been a home run if some details were corrected: the ice maker was broken, the sliding screen door stuck and when forced fell off the track, there was a screen in one bedroom ripped from outside foliage, the ceiling fans needed dusting badly. Such a shame, these issues were reported, but no changes made while I was there. It is a good property, but could be much better. Another detail, many properties have a welcome book, it includes specific instructions for the location ex. trash and recycle days and locations, names and menus of local eating places, contact numbers for the grounds if an emergency arises, map of the local area, activities at the amenities bldg, etc. I know a lot of that can be found on-line, but sometimes it helps the tenants acclimate quicker. The owner was attentive when I had questions, I can say that, but no changes were made to improve the property while I was there. I hope the next tenants realize the changes.

Absolutely beautiful building

The building looks like a medieval castle! It really is beautiful. The floorplan of the condo is the coolest thing I've ever seen. It's literally two units in one and easily separated completely for privacy. Perfect for a company or business situation.

Perfect location for family

We selected this unit mostly due to its proximity to extended family in the area. The price per night was also very reasonable. The condo has not been updated since itā€™s construction and it is definitely worn out looking inside. Couch cushions are torn, there are stains on the carpet, but overall, with three young children, it was comfortable, safe and had working AC. The check-in process was very easy. Provided instructions were well documented. The only issue was getting on the internet as there is outdated information on the VRBO listing instructions, but accurate WiFi info in the email sent by the owner.

Loved the property. Our host was very accommodating. The pool was amazing as well as the lap pool and fitness room that we had access too. We loved the area. We would love to stay there again

Great condo, great walking area

Very nice condo. Beautiful pool. Restaurants and shopping less than 2 miles away. The beautiful historic St Augustine is about half hours drive. The coffee maker was broken but the property owner promptly replaced it the a brand new one. I would come again.

St Augustine

Had a wonderful time in St Augustine. Unit is as stated. Very clean. Make sure all visitors are on the "list" to get beyond the gates. The complex takes your security seriously. Had a slight problem but the owner come by himself to correct it within the half hour. Couldn't ask for more.

Nightmareā€¦look elsewhere.

Showed up at 9pm after a full day of travel. Guard didnā€™t have our names and would not let us enter the grounds. Called Bob the owner for over 30 mins with no response. Guard finally let us in after pleading with him. But still no call from Bob. Entered the condo to find the beds stripped and unmade, bathrooms uncleaned with towels everywhere. Continued to call both VRBO and property owner. Bob finally texted over 90 minutes after our first contact. Claimed he didnā€™t think we were coming until tomorrow. The dates were clear. On top of it, this place is datedā€¦the beds, furniture & tvā€™s weā€™re old and worn. You can do better. VRBO claimed this should not happen but there were other issues with this particular property. No details but why take the chance. My wife and I had to get a hotel room nearby at an inflated, last-minute rate and completely ruined the start of our vacation. Donā€™t risk your vacation. There are a ton of properties to rent in this complex and this guy should get your money. This guy is not a good host and unapologetic for his mistakes.

Love the areaā€¦

Lovely property, well maintained. Gated community. Condo interior looks nice but just not setup for seniors!! No comfortable place to sit. Sofa was old and saggy. No grab bars in the large built in tub. Kitchen is small with very little space to store food. Shortage of decent pots and pans and silverware. The condo was clean except for the living area carpet. We rented a shampooer! Roku tv was new to us. Hated it but we managed after a lesson from the owner. Again, itā€™s a beautiful setting with a balcony overlooking the pool surrounded with palm trees. And the weather sure beats NH in the winter!!! I guess you canā€™t replace the comforts of home!!!

Overall this was a nice place but a bit run down somewhat. Needs new towels that donā€™t have stains. It also needs a new screen door or at least a fix so it opens and closes more easily. The kitchen could use some nice big coffee mugs. There was a keurig but I couldnā€™t get it to work. Pool was beautiful but wasnā€™t heated.

Great Location for Golf, Sun & Fun in St. Augustine

If the guys like to golf, and the girls love the beach, this is the place to stay! Both courses at WGV got rave reviews, and the beach is an easy 20-minute-ish drive, as is downtown St. Augustine. The condo is well set up for couples traveling together, as the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the kitchen/family room, each with its own bathroom. We enjoyed hanging out on the balcony with views of the lovely pool area. The host was responsive to all inquiries, and the price was fair for the accommodations.

Great place, very cozy and quiet.

We stayed here with the intention of visiting st Augustine beach and downtown everyday. We prefer to stay a away from the more congested areas, and donā€™t mind driving a few extra miles. We went for Thanksgiving and it was great. It the weather was better, the pool looked great. Very nice golding community. We had a great time. Thanks!

Convenient and great property

The condo was great., my friends golfed, we ate at AJā€™s acres the street. It was close to my daughters wedding venue., I highly recommend

Beautiful, well maintained condo with plenty of room for 5. Kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of towels for us to use the entire week. Washer and dryer in the unit was a huge plus. Fold out couch was very uncomfortable and we ended up borrowing an air mattress from friends. If just using as a couch, this should not be an issue though. We would definitely stay here again if we were coming mostly for golf. Our teenage and young adult kids were a little bored because, at this location, you pretty much have a 15-20 minute drive no matter where you're going. If you're looking for quiet and serene, this is the place! If you're looking for activity and shopping, you might consider staying closer to downtown St. Augustine.

Great Location

It was far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions yet just a short drive to be in the thick of it. The condo was Great with some exceptions such as you need to know how to work Roku and watch what's available, the condo could use a bit of an update, such as new shower curtains, proper supplies such as Dishwasher detergent and more then half a roll of toilet paper, Ceiling fans should be cleaned, just simple maintenance issues from the cleaning crew or property manager. All in all a great place and would stay again.
