Immerse yourself in the beauty of Western North Carolina from the 5,000+ SF deck that wraps the Lodge on 3 sides and juts over the edge of the widest span in the river. The open gourmet kitchen/living room, with its 16 ft stone fireplace and antler chandelier, will warmly welcome your extended family, friends or colleagues and comfortably accommodate them. Sleep and relax in any of 3 Master Suites on the main level. We have also crafted ramps, a barrier free shower and widened doorways to make the main floor and deck of the Lodge wheelchair friendly so everyone is included. The Lodge will sleep 20+ and the exterior bunkhouses add space for 5-6 more.

There are many within easy driving distance, and we know great local guides.



Does your group crave competition? Because of its proximity to Pisgah National Forest, the area features ambitious races of all types, most notably those bordering on the crazy or zany...think Black Mountain Marathon/Mount Mitchell Challenge or Assault on Mount Mitchell.

Is golf the game of choice? Western NC is a golfer’s paradise offering a wide variety of well known courses.



Weather not conducive to fishing or golf? Home to 11 craft breweries, Asheville boasts about 50 local beers. Asheville has more breweries per capita than any other US city! Wine vineyards have thrived in Western NC because of the area’s excellent conditions for growing grapes at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
