A unique opportunity to vacation in the ground floor apartment of Kronprins Olavs Villa on the island of Godøysund in Tysnes.

Huge outdoor deck with fjord and mountain views, great for groups or families. Sleeps max. 7 (+ 1 infant).

There are 3 ground floor en-suite bedrooms, providing direct access to the deck, with spectacular views of the surrounding area. A well-apportioned kitchen with breakfast bar leads into an open plan dining area and living room with various entertainment options provided. There is underfloor heating throughout the living spaces.

The master bedroom has a queen sized double bed and cot/crib, with a corner jacuzzi bath and showerhead attachment in the bathroom. The second bedroom contains two single beds (with shower room), and the third a family bunk bed (with shower room).

Bed linen, towels, dressing gowns, basic toiletries, hairdryer, travel adaptor & multiway charging cable, are provided in bedrooms for use during your stay.

You are welcome to bring your own airbeds/camping beds/sleeping bags for use in the communal area. There is a supplementary fee of 100Kr per person per night for guests in excess of the official unit capacity of 7.

Vehicle access (by road) is via a single vehicle suspension bridge and locked gate, or you are welcome to arrive by boat and dock at the quayside.

We generally schedule bookings to maximise guests' privacy, so it is uncommon for both apartments to be occupied at the same time. Occasionally there may be some overlap, with the upper apartment occupied by other guests or, more often, by the hosts, for a short stay. In these circumstances, the outdoor spaces and facilities (BBQ, deck, garden furniture, parking, and dock) are shared. If you would prefer guaranteed exclusive use of all indoor and outdoor areas, the entire property is also available as a separate listing.

Getting around:

It is a long walk from the property to the main road! We therefore suggest arriving by car or boat, both of which provide ample opportunity for exploring the local area.

There are regular ferries from Bergen area via the Våge/Halhjem ferry, or it is a very scenic 'drive around' the fjords via the FV 48/49 (around 130km via this route to Bergen airport). We are also around 55km from Stord airport, with both airports offering a choice of car rental companies.
