The house was better than the pictures! Very spacious and plenty of room for our extended family of 10. The property is quite impressive. Plenty of areas to explore in our teenage kids. Wanted to just stay on the property for the entirety of our trip.There is a cabin that is on the property as well that is close by, but otherwise a completely private setting. It is a relatively steep gravel driveway, but we had no problems getting up at during our stay in September. We definitely consider staying here again!

This pet friendly home was gorgeous and very clean..... beautiful architectural details, furniture, and decor....all thoughtfully considered/collected. The large windows put the glorious property and fall splendor on full display. Though our party was small, there is plenty of room/space for larger groups to spread out and enjoy all the amenities provided. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit after spending time at nearby vineyards, apple orchards, and hiking trails. Communication with the host and property manager was excellent. My older phone was not receiving written messages timely.... no fault of theirs! ....but both went above and beyond to see that we received needed check-in info timely. We're already contemplating another trip to this lovely property :)

Gorgeous home with ample room

This home sits atop mountainous terrain overlooking a large pond ad rolling hills. The fall colors were amazing. The home was well equipped and prepared for a stress free stay. The owner and manager even went out of their way to send us items we had forgotten!

Wonderful property

Spacious house and property. Privacy with great views and a wonderful home. Great communication with owner. A chef’s kitchen. Real wood stone fireplace. Very nice touches throughout. Not one single issue. Highly recommended.

Exceptional Property

We stayed her for a week while at a local horse show. The property was absolutely stunning! There were 10 of us in total and it was an amazing time for all. Between paddle boarding on the lake, watching the fireflies at night and the stunning sunsets, w eledt feeling refreshed. The host was accomodating, quick to respond and just so gracious. We are looking firward to coming back again soon!

Some minor problems. There was some mold in guest room bathroom. Kitchen was very nice but could be stocked better- not enough forks for our crowd. We had ten people, but beds for twelve . Need more TVs or switch the tv in game room to den.

Thank you for letting us know about the low fork inventory, we will purchase additional forks right away. And thank you for the heads up on the bathroom, I will have our cleaning team look into it, sometimes it can be from the copper levels in our water which leaves stains. Glad you enjoyed the kitchen.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting!

My friends and I make an annual trip to the mountains of NC every year for a long weekend and we planned our trip months in advance. The home looked beautiful- plenty of space- and best of all- set on a large property with the option to walk the area- be away from the bustle of everyday life- and just relax! Then- Hurricane Helene hit and our stay was only 2 weeks later. The areas to the North and West of this property were hit hard and there was impact to the region of this property as well- but we didn't know how much or what it might impact. The owner and local property manager went above and beyond to answer our questions and do site checks to ensure our safety and address our concerns. We knew the property condition and understood any issues (there were none upon travel) well in advance. When we arrived- the home was just as pictured- with TONS of space and light in a seemingly remote setting that was peaceful and just right for my group. We all had plenty of room with a huge kitchen and great room - coupled with a game room and ample bedrooms. We loved this location and value the great communication and understanding of our host. Thank you!

This house is perfect! The rooms are spacious and the kitchen in a dream for a chef or large family. We were a family of 9 with ages from 8 to 81. Everyone enjoyed the home and property. The only minor drawback was that the walk to the pond was not drivable and was slightly steep grade for my elderly parents. However, my husband, children and I were able to easily navigate the hike on foot and greatly enjoyed swimming, paddleboarding, and fishing. We will definitely look to rent again in the future!

We really enjoyed our 4 week stay! The house is really stunning, with the most gorgeous windows and views of the mountains. The Property Manager and Owner were really easy to communicate with and resolved any issues we encountered very quickly.

Great place to getaway. House and views are amazing. The only downside was the gas grille did not work and I brought a lot of steaks. Other than that we loved it.

Wonderful House

We had a fantastic time at the house. My husband and I loved cooking in the kitchen and the breath taking views. The boys enjoyed all the games and the dogs loved exploring the property! The house did not disappoint- highly recommend.

Love this home

This was our second time renting this home because we love it. The home is amazing as well as the property. We will definitely be renting for two weeks again next year!! The fact that I can bring my pup with me is a huge plus. My only suggestion would be to have king beds in all of the rooms.
