Sobre o anfitrião
Anfitrião: Fintan and Patricia Lalor
We retired in France to be near our daughter and grand-daughter. Michelle, our daughter , heard about this house on the 'grapevine'! It was hiding away in an abandoned overgrown garden. We've been very busy renovating it and putting in the pool. Never a dull moment! We don't regret moving here for a minute. We love welcoming our guests, going to Montpellier or the market in Mèze by the sea, on Sunday mornings. We often.pop over the border to Spain and we never get bored following our daughter's ineteresting musical career in the region. You can't beat sitting out on the terrace on a summer's evening listening to the crickets and unusual birdsong.. Life is good!
Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade
We chose Le Pouget , like our daughter, for it's great situation. It's in the centre of all the best that the region has to offer: coastline, mountains, gorges, lakes, city - everything is just a short hop away but meanwhile there are wonderful walks surrounding the village. The village has plenty of amenties, so if you want a lazy break you really don't have to move your car all holiday! Furthermore, if you are a keen cyclist , like our daughter, you will be spoilt choice .Michelle , regularly heads off for 100km treks up and down the local peaks and she has a great knowledge of the best cycling routes that this beautiful, varied region has to offer all year round.
O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
We fell in love with la Bergerie as soon as the owner swung the gates open and we looked up the long, treelined driveway. A secret garden in the centre of the village! It was love at first sight!
