Great flat right in the middle of the city

We had a great stay at Stonegate Court. It is right in the heart of the historic city centre, and all the main sights are within easy walking distance. Even though it is in the centre of things, it was quiet. The beds are comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing that could be improved is that the latch on the door to the second bedroom is broken, so the door would not stay closed. Would absolutely stay again.

Perfect location, perfect view

We were really delighted by our stay. The appartement lies in a very quiet area with access to central York. The view from the balcony is breathtaking - old houses and the cathedral. The appartment is very comfortable.

Very convenient location

The apartment is very conveniently situated and easy to find. There was an issue with the door keys (it turns out that these are not needed as it is all key coded). There was a leak by the kitchen sink. The apartment is a little tired looking (lounge furniture) but overall it suited us.

The location of the property to the walled city is outstanding! Also, the property is spacious, well-appointed, and very quiet. We loved our stay!

Great location

This apartment was in a great location next to local shops with a lovely view of the minster. The lift and step free access are ideal for those with limited mobility. The issues we had were; • the kitchen sink was leaking, it looked like it had been that way for a while as the vinyl was swollen- the leak was swiftly sorted after we contacted maintenance • the keypad lock system was a bit temperamental, I have a family member who is disabled and some days I left the apartment while they stayed, I would double check the door after leaving and it hadn’t locked despite hearing the locking noise • on the bedroom balcony there was a dirty glass and empty packet of cigarettes “ the tv in lounge was very outdated and missing most channels despite a retune • the wifi was temperamental • wasn’t provided with anything for washing machine in welcome pack Overall the location is great especially for those with limited mobility, however the apartment does need updating

We really enjoyed our stay was a lovely apartment , was spacious clean and had everything you needed . Also has outside space . Its about a 10 minute walk or so to where you can park your car with a car permit. And the apartment is right by shops and short walk to pubs and resturants. Would definitely stay there again .

A very central location

This property was ideally situated for access to all the attractions & street life. The accommodation was lovely ample space & clean & we would live to stay there again. Although in the main hub of the town it was very quiet.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

This unit was stunning! So spacious & well appointed, with a balcony AND a terrace. On a 2 week tour of England, this unit was hands down the nicest property we stayed at. And such a great location inside the walled city, but quiet and completely secure. What a treat!If we ever return to the area, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

Just perfect for location. Everything really is on your doorstep. Comfortable and exceptionally clean apartment. Wheelchair freindly. Very well stocked kitchen area (apart from food obviously ) One very minor negative was no kitchen roll.Unless it was in a place i did not spot.

A great located, clean and comfortable apartment

Amazing location in the centre of town, minister, dungeon, museum and other attraction in walking distance and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants! Clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Parking space is included in stay but it is about a 10 min walk away from the apartment so keep this in mind. Would definitely book again!

Perfect city centre pad for exploring

It’s probably one of the best located apartments in York with open views from balconies and both the master bedroom and the Living room area looking over Yorkminster’s rose window. Perfectly located next to loads of shops, pubs and restaurants. The master bathroom had a broken shower and that was the only issue we had during the weekend. To top it off the apartment came with a car parking pass, which as you can imagine, is a pretty rare thing in a mediaeval city. ! We will definitely look to book this apartment again, we had a great weekend with a perfect base for exploring the city.

Originally booked three nights and unfortunately, we had to leave after only one night. Unfortunately, there was an issue with ants in the main room and kitchen. We were not comfortable staying with our young son through the treatment that would be necessary to rid the apartment of the ants. The management company was prompt with their communications and generously refunded us for the last two nights. Would also like to note that the apartment is in need of some updating and repairs, was not cleaned thoroughly, there is no good coffee-making option (only espresso machine and tiny French press) and there is no AC.
