We had a lovely stay in the cottage, would stay again.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage, would stay again.We would recommend it, very comfortable and the coal fire was a bonus. The owner left a cream tea on arrival. The area is so peaceful and plenty of places to walk.

Absolutely beautiful little cottage, converted from farm buildings into a cosy retreat, whilst keeping lots of original features. It felt like a very special place. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything you could need to use, the underfloor heating and log/coal burner made for a lovely warm stay. Everything was immaculate and the home made cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. Fabulous base for exploring Carlisle, The Lakes and Scotland. 20 minute walk to local pub which does great food and local ales. Very quiet location. Access straight onto Hadrian's Wall paths. Lovely cottage in rural location. The rain stopped us from exploring the local walks through the adjoining fields. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the cream tea on our arrival was lovely.

We had a lovely break at Hollow Creek Cottage.

We had a lovely break at Hollow Creek Cottage. It is everything you need for an enjoyable time away from home. The cottage is in a good location to use as a base or for travelling within just a few miles of the cottage. Lots of lovely things to see. Lovely hosts.
