A well presented property in a great part of Somerset for easy access to many places in the region.

A well presented property in a great part of Somerset for easy access to many places in the region. Nice size garden and private patio and parking close by.The accommodation is bright and comfortable with everything there for self catering and a very good local pub in Pilton just in case! Very quiet with no noise ideal for getting away from it all.

Great stay!

Nicely situated spot, lovely clean place and well appointed with everything we needed. Met by the owner who was friendly and helpful. We choe this place as it was also pet friendly. Garden was safely fenced to keep adventurous pups in! Overall a throughly enjoyable stay. We would recommend the property without hesitation. Thanks!

Spotlessly clean

Property was very clean and had everything you need. Only downside was the steepness of the stairs to the upstairs bedroom. This is stated on the listing but I don’t think it is emphasised enough. Very difficult to climb.

The cottage was spotless and the owner was kind and very easy to deal with.

The cottage was spotless and the owner was kind and very easy to deal with. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are many countryside walks. The cottage is comfortable, warm and and whilst it is December, the patio was lovely and will get the afternoon and evening sun in the summer. Definitely one to recommend. We had a lovely stay here, the cottage is in the middle of nowhere so you will need a car and it is difficult to get taxis in the area, but if you are looking for a peaceful getaway this is perfect! The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything we needed, off road parking is available. I thought the DVDs, puzzles, books and games that were provided in the cottage were a nice touch. Situated in the heart of rural Somerset it is very peaceful and relaxing.

Situated in the heart of rural Somerset it is very peaceful and relaxing. The Apple Tree pub is in walking distance straight across the field which is good otherwise a car is required. The cottage is well presented, well stocked and has a spacious garden. My wife and I and our Labrador thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay.

We spent a lovely two days in the Old Stable.

We spent a lovely two days in the Old Stable. Our children loved their bedroom and we all felt completely relaxed and at home. The milk and biscuits were an added bonus. We will definitely be returning.
