Fantastic little cottage on a lovely friendly campsite.

Fantastic little cottage on a lovely friendly campsite. Owners are on hand and were welcoming and helpful. The campsite had a nice holiday vibe and the cottage is set away from that so was very peaceful. Location is beautiful and only a short drive from Matlock attractions.

We stayed here during half term with our 2 children- we were very happy with everything.

We stayed here during half term with our 2 children- we were very happy with everything. The location was ideal- staying on the farm gave them lost of space to explore. The cottage was nice and cosy and ideal for what we needed. The farm is location in a great place for exploring the Peak District. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of minor issues whilst there (self made!) and they were able to sort out quickly. We will look to return at some point I’m sure

Lovely cottage on a beautiful working farm / campsite.

Lovely cottage on a beautiful working farm / campsite. Very well equipped, with everything a family would need. Log burner in the living area...very cosy! Just come back from a one weeks stay with my toddler son.

Just come back from a one weeks stay with my toddler son. The cottage was beautiful, clean and very cosy, a real home from home. It was quiet in the evenings despite the campsite nearby (except for the occasional neigh from the stables!) We made use of the playground and the shop for essentials. We used the kitchen a few nights and found everything we needed. The cottage was also thoughtfully set up for our toddler with toddler plastic plates, bowls and cups. A bed guard and if needed a travel cot and highchair. All of which were clean and useable. The cottage is close by to many attractions and good walking. We did struggle to find a pub to eat in at first because many places don't seem to serve food on Mondays and Tuesday's but half way through the week we found the Red Lion in Birchover which was fantastic.

We had a brilliant week - quiet, picturesque and within easy distance of peak District attractions.

We had a brilliant week - quiet, picturesque and within easy distance of peak District attractions. Kids loved the farm and the play amenities and the cottage was comfortable, clean and well resources. It was perfect for my 50th birthday can't wait to go back!
