Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 3: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Pull Out Single (3ft) Bed. Gas central heating (£25per week October-May), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Garage parking for 1 car; additional private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps to the patio and an unfenced stream borders the garden.. A superb location for a family seaside holiday, this delightful detached, upside-down, brick and flint house lies just 50 yards from the glorious beach, which can be accessed by the gate at the bottom of the garden, borders a meandering stream, and is walking distance from shops and pubs in the pretty village of Mundesley. This lovely area provides so much to see: the beautiful Norfolk Broads where boats can be hired or trips can be taken, Cromer, 8 miles, for family fun - famous for its end-of-pier show and crab sandwiches, pretty fishing villages, bird reserves, seal-watching trips, steam train rides and the children will love BeWILDerwood - a treetop fun park. Medieval Norwich, with its castle, cathedral, fine shops and restaurants, is not to be missed. Shop and pub 100 yards.

This property may be unsuitable for those with restricted mobility.

As part of the Coastal management Scheme, contractors will be undertaking work from 4th March 2024 until the end of March 2025 and Beach Road will be an entry for works but guests will be able to take their vehicles down Beach Road at any time to the property and park on Beach Retreat’s driveway and inside the garage.

There is open water in the property grounds.

There is a £50 security deposit which must be paid by BACS to the owner 7 days before the holiday and will be returned within 7 days after departure. Please contact her on 07748 636043 to obtain bank details.

We booked a short break away at the Beach Retreat at the last minute.

We booked a short break away at the Beach Retreat at the last minute. The communication with the owner was very good and instructions great.We were a group of 6 with ages ranging from 19 to 83 and we all had a great time. The house was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything you could have wanted or needed. The location near the beach was wonderful and the view of the sea from the lounge window was amazing.We had a few bracing walks along the beach to blow away the cobwebs. Being here in the summer would have been a perfect holiday, especially for families with children.Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fabulous house.

Fabulous house. 3 couples staying the weekend. the house was more than we expected. Lovely stream and seating to rear and beach views. A great house if you have children, a cupboard full of games, dvd's PlayStation etc. Would definitely return with the grandchildren.

A very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage.

A very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. Access to the beach is easy and you have a sea view from several rooms. When we arrived there was a home made cake a bottle of wine and a bottle of milk waiting for us. The cottage makes an ideal base to explore the Norfolk coast. Beach Retreat is a spacious, modern house in a superb location, close to the beach, pub and local facilities. It is an excellent base for exploring the Norfolk coast and hinterland. The area is pleasantly quiet at night, despite the closeness of the pub which seems to attract a mature clientele. Fabulous holiday and great location.

Fabulous holiday and great location. Mavis was a wonderful host . We were greeted with wine , a homemade cake, and tea and coffee essentials. The holiday home itself was spotless and spacious . Ideal family holiday home , in prime location. Lovely beach , and close to the local pub. We will definitely return . Thank you Mavis .

Excellent.

Excellent. We met the owner who was lovely. The property had everything for all ages. Such as surf board and wet suits, spare dog towels, board games, a PlayStation and games. Absolutely fantastic. We went in November when it was cold and wet but we still had a great time as the beach was lovely for a stroll. Cannot recommend enough. Great stuff

A very well equipt house in a fantastic position very close to the beach. The house was comfortable and everything thing you could think of was provided. The welcome pack was excellent and Maureen's cake was delicious. It was great to meet Maureen who kindly came to see us to ensure everything was ok. I would recommend Beach Retreat as a great place to stay.

This house has everything to keep all ages entertained including beach towels and wet suits for the beach,kids toys,games,huge selection of dvds,and even a box of toys for the dog. Normally we like to go out in the car visiting other places of interest but we loved the house so much,we wanted to stay and took full advantage of it. The lovely beach is a couple of minutes walk away with a private residential path following the stream at the bottom of the garden. There is an outside tap which we found very useful for washing the dog and sand off feet and shoes. Mavis is a genuinely caring host and the home made cake on arrival is absolutely delicious. We will definitely return.

We all loved the house and it’s location.

We all loved the house and it’s location.It suited all our needs from a 3month old baby to a 63yr grandad!We had brilliant weather,had lovely walks on beach and prom especially in the evenings.The Ship Inn 2mins away was a bonus for us,lovely food.The house was immaculate,well equipped,and had sea views.We were a family of 6 inc grandparents and a baby and a 4yr old so going to the beach with bags,chairs,picnic,tent,buckets and spades was so easy with the beach being only 50yds away from Beach Retreat. Mavis the owner left us a yummy cake,red wine and milk.?

Had a fabulous week!We found the house to be well appointed; comfortable; very clean and it’s located in a great spot (we liked that it’s private /quiet yet near to the local amenities. And we loved the beach access and sea view). Mavis left wine, milk and home made cake-which was so welcoming-she then popped round the next day to ensure that we had settled in & had everything that we needed. All very much appreciated;thank you.We know this part of the coast well and always enjoy visiting anyway, but staying at Beach Retreat just made our holiday even better. Hopefully,If we can match up dates, we’d love to be able to book to stay at another time !Thanks again!
