Bring your family to Briar Cottage for a peaceful family holiday in Suffolk – don’t forget the sunshine as there are some beautiful beaches.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Bath With Shower Attachment, Toilet
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric heaters and electricity included. Barbecue.. Nestling in a secluded setting in 35 acres of landscaped grounds and meadows, home to horses and ponies, these extremely comfortable cottages each with their own private decking and enjoying use of an indoor pool, are ideal for a relaxing holiday. Wi-Fi can also be found in the clubhouse building. Southwolds elegant seaside is 6 miles, whilst RSPB Minsmere, cycle hire, fishing and golf are all under 9 miles. Boat hire at Beccles, gateway to the southern broads, is 5 miles.. All properties: Bed linen and towels included. Cot and highchair. Laundry room with washing machine and coin-operated tumble dryer (shared). Decking with garden furniture. 35-acre grounds (shared). Indoor heated swimming pool (shared, 9m x 4.8m, open daily April-October, private allocated use by arrangement). Parking. No smoking.

Would be nice if all cottages had a hot tub.
Would be nice if all cottages had a hot tub. Area around cottages needs to be more secure so dogs can't get out.

Fantastic location for us to visit family.
Fantastic location for us to visit family. Superb access for my wife who is in a wheelchair.
Nick is very accommodating and friendly.

A lovely little cottage.

There were some issues that spoiled a lovely holiday, the showers, the pressure was too low, it made
There were some issues that spoiled a lovely holiday, the showers, the pressure was too low, it made it difficult to wash, and the hoover had no go in it, making it hard to clean. The beds were uncomfortable.
The pool could have been a bit cleaner, and the showers were dirty.
The enclosed area surrounding was lovely for the dogs.
If this is a work in progress we would return when finished

There were some issues that spoiled a lovely holiday, the showers, the pressure was too low, it made it difficult to wash, and the hoover had no go in it, making it hard to clean. The beds were uncomfortable.
The pool could have been a bit cleaner, and the showers were dirty.
The enclosed area surrounding was lovely for the dogs.

Overall this was a positive experience.
Overall this was a positive experience. The cottages are sited very attractively and
the well maintained swimming pool - on an exceptionally hot weekend - was very much appreciated. However a few factors detracted from an overall excellent review. Chief among these were the poor quality, very uncomfortable mattresses in the twin-bedded room, causing loss of sleep! There is a lack of storage space in the living area for personal items, books, tablets, toys, etc and would suggest the large bookcase is emptied of the owner's contents, possibly leaving a couple of titles and a boxfile for local interest leaflets. Unfortunately, having enjoyed the swimming pool there were no hooks, e.g. in the shower or over the bath, on which to hang dripping costumes though the small heated rail was appreciated for drying towels. Apart from the mattresses, we very much enjoyed our stay and our comments are meant to be helpful, rather than critical.
