Travel cot and highchair. Airer/drying rack included. Welcome pack.. Fenced garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Bike store. Electric vehicle charging point, at cost. Parking. No smoking. Please note: This property has a natural water supply. This property is inspected and quality graded by Visit Wales’ own inspection team and we are advised by them that the property is 5*.. Set in the stunning countryside of the beautiful Dyfi Valley, this charming and romantic, detached holiday cottage boasts a wealth of oak beams and delightful character. Once the old blacksmith’s and restored to a very high standard, it is ideally located to explore Snowdonia’s many attractions. Nearby, Bwlch y Groes – the highest pass in Wales – leads to the spectacular lakes at Bala and Vyrnwy (RSPB reserve). Dolgellau and Machynlleth are 10 miles, Aberdovey and Barmouth 20 miles. Supermarket deliveries are available to the property. Fishing within a mile. Shops 3 miles, restaurants and pubs 2 miles.

The perfect holiday cottage

Location is quiet on the Hellfire pass, with lovely valley views & dark sky at night. Property is outstanding in design and furnishings & fixtures are of a high quality. Parking is secure next to the property. Cleanliness on arrival is to a very high standard, with complimentary supplies very welcome & a kind gesture. Owner came by on 1st night to make sure all was OK & to answer any questions. Cottage has a very informative catalogue of detailed services of local eateries, shop locations & services. We will most definitely be returning as it exceeded our expectations & was truly the best holiday cottage we have ever experienced in 27 years! I can't recommend enough for a couples retreat in Wales. I never review holiday properties, but this is deserving of high praise. Book this holiday cottage with confidence, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Mr & Mrs Jones

Ruhig, schön, komfortabel & sehr sauber.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Das Haus hatte alles was wir für zwei Personen brauchten. Es ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet worden und alles ist aufeinander abgestimmt. Während unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wir ein Problem im Haus. Es wurde von den Besitzern sofort behoben. Grundsätzlich waren die Besitzer immer für uns da. Mr. und Mrs. Jones sind sehr sympathische Menschen. Wir würden das Haus wieder buchen und können es zu 100% weiter empfehlen.

We had the most wonderful time at yr efail. It is a beautiful cottage, immaculately clean and well equipped. It is a remote location, which is 100% what we wanted. It is a very special place to which we shall return and the hospitality from Elwyn and Megan added an extra positive dimension.

Superb cottage in beautiful surroundings, it is remote but that is what we love, very clean and comfortable and although the local supermarket is approx 10 miles away, we knew this before booking and it was not an issue. Loads to see and do in the area, but a car is essential for days out. Fantastic views and loads of walking routes available locally. Owners of cottage were very welcoming and always available if needed

We received a very warm and friendly welcome from the owners, as well as mouthwatering, homemade lemon drizzle cake. The location and views were breathtaking. We enjoyed a really memorable week. The cottage and everything provided was to the highest standard, so we had a most comfortable and relaxing stay. The cottage is close to the road, but the local traffic is light and the bedroom is to the rear. We would definitely stay here again in the future. To be here during the lambing season was a real bonus! Perfect for couples who want a quiet getaway. The internet dropped out a few times, but always came back quickly. Remarkable that we could get it at all in such a quiet location.
