A nice comfortable, well located cottage.

A nice comfortable, well located cottage. We went in January and found we needed the heating turned up higher to warm the lounge to comfortable levels.Very nice welcome pack much appreciated.

The Granary is a very comfortable cottage and a nice place to come back to.

The Granary is a very comfortable cottage and a nice place to come back to. Never having visited The Gower, there were plenty of places within fairly easy driving distance, and there was a good local pub which served good food at reasonable prices. We are used to a fairly firm king size bed, so the fairly soft standard double wasn't the most comfortable for us, but that's personal preference!

There were not many glasses (plenty of wine glasses).The shower tray was cracked. We were very happy with the two weeks. We will probably come again as my daughter and son in law live just up the road in Gorseinon. .

Clean comfortable cottage, the downside for us was the noise of the constant traffic at Three Crosse

Clean comfortable cottage, the downside for us was the noise of the constant traffic at Three Crosses it appears to be a rat run for commuters which is not what you want to hear when you on are holiday. One member of our party had a little difficulty with the vertical nature of the stairs this property is not suitable for those with mobility issues and the ground floor is not on the level. Some of the oventrays could have been cleaner or newer, but the owner responded fairly promptly to an issue with hall light. Not enough recycling bags available for self caterers needs. With these points in mind possibly not quite a 5 star property but felt the price reflected the overall experience.

A comfortable and nicely decorated cottage

As the managers were apparently traveling, we had to find our ourselves how things in the cottage have to be operated. Due to the historic ambience of the house, doors did not easily shut and the window in the "big"bedroom couldn't become closed properly. The managers placed useful things for starting the stay at the house including a bottle of Prosecco for which we are grateful. Also the fresh roses on the table were beautiful.

The Granary is a comfortable and clean holiday cottage, and we particularly appreciated the enclosed garden, as it was relaxing sitting outside at the end of the day, knowing our border collie dog was secure with us. The garden seems to catch the afternoon/evening sun, and though not right on the coast, it is on high ground so you can glimpse the sea in the distance. Gower is a fantastic place to holiday with your dog, as about half the beaches allow dogs all summer. We stayed in early July and had miles of sandy beaches almost to ourselves - just a few other dog owners in the distance. The wild flowers were also beautiful in the sand dunes behind the beaches called 'burrows'.

Lovely cottage and good location to visit all of the Gower. Great for our family of 4 plus our dog. Highly recommended.

Beautiful accommodation and location for the Gower.

Beautiful accommodation and location for the Gower. Our 2 old dogs loved it there and we enjoyed the fresh chicken and duck eggs you can get from next door. Thoroughly recommend this place for peace and tranquility but within easy access of some fantastic beaches.

We really enjoyed our stay and found the cottage met all our needs! We definitely needed the car though to make the most of the lovely beaches and countryside round about. Comfortable, clean, well equipped and very welcoming - it was one of the best cottages we've stayed in!
