A great touring base, with Lincoln, Horncastle and the coastal resort of Skegness all within easy reach.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Courtyard with outdoor furniture. 7 acre natural grounds (shared). Private parking for two cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced beck, 250 yards away.. Situated just outside the small village of West Ashby on an 8 acre small holding, this single storey cottage is in an ideal location for holidaymakers wishing to explore the delights of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The tranquil village of Fulletby and the country market town of Horncastle are only 2 miles away. Experience Lincoln’s remarkable sites and historic gems, including Lincoln Cathedral, medieval Bishop’s Palace, Lincoln Castle, the Museum of Lincolnshire Life and Ellis Mill. For a fantastic day out for all the family, the famous Pleasure Island Theme Park is a must. Golf course and day fishing ½ mile. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Came for a family wedding and found the accommodation really good.

Came for a family wedding and found the accommodation really good. The owners very welcoming and happy to help. A very comfortable cottage which we will look to return to in the future. An excellent place for us to stay with our dog. Very quiet area and very easy to relax.

A lovely, cottage situated opposite the owners’s own property.

A lovely, cottage situated opposite the owners’s own property. A great welcome pack was there upon arrival. All the rooms are a great size and it has been well furnished. The main bed was extremely comfortable (2nd bedroom not used). It is also very well equipped with everything you could need. Flooring is practical for dogs being mainly tiled with carpet in bedrooms.The garden is located at the rear of the property through a gate. There are no windows overlooking the garden or doors into the garden from the property, but it is a great area for dogs to play and a glass of wine or 2. Horncastle is a short drive from the property. The hosts are extremely friendly. I would definitely rebook should we go back to the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. Will love to stay again. The owners were very friendly too. The rear garden, which is enclosed, is ideal for dogs to run around in. We really loved this place and comes very much recommended.

Nice accommodation.

Nice accommodation. Very close to Horncastle and Woodhall Spa. RAF Coningsby also within a few miles for those aircraft enthusiasts. The cottage is in a very rural area and dead quiet at night. The only sound was that of an owl very close by. It was a treat to stand outside one clear night and see more stars than I have ever seen in England. No lighting to detract from the beautiful night sky. The cottage had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy. Plenty of crockery and cutlery and utensils. It’s much more spacious than it looks on the photos with a large lounge and kitchen/diner. The cottage owners are right there if needed but unobtrusive. Sara was there to greet us a few mins after we arrived and showed us around. The only tiny little grumble was the real difficulty of opening the key safe, if Sara had not been there fairly quickly after our arrival to get the key out we would have been stuck. I think they will fix that though.

very nice but smelt of dog. I think the advertising agent took far to large a cut making the overall price more expensive than it should be.

Accommodation had everything needed,nice quiet location with only the sheep to wake you in the morning. It was a perfect base to travel around Lincolnshire. Owners were lovely and the new mattress was very comfortable. We will return next year.
