We had a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay. Fabulous view. Frequent visits from peacocks, peahens and red squirrel. The Longhouse was cozy and had everything we needed. Great to be able to explore the estate too.

The cottage was to a high standard in terms of decor, cleanliness and facilities.

The cottage was to a high standard in terms of decor, cleanliness and facilities. The underfloor heating was very good and the shower was excellent. To be able to see wild life was a bonus....peacocks, squirrels, deer, and pheasants.The only niggle for us was the oven/ microwave as we both have arthritis so bending down to it was a chore. We had a warm, informative welcome from Roderick and Alison.

We had a wonderful (too short!) stay.

We had a wonderful (too short!) stay. The very thorough Covid preparations and precautions clearly explained added to the already superb warm welcome and cosy, clean and welcoming presentation of the longhouse. A clever combination of modern and smart traditional decor - looking out onto open farmland. The dining area - sitouterie - which opens out to the private garden is a real bonus - as was the log fire - given we enjoyed warm sunny days and cooler evenings. Great small local independent shops (including deli and butchers) very close by and a large supermarket less than 15 mins away. We enjoyed being out in the countryside yet to amenities and also of the wonderful sights and tourist attractions, walks and scenery. Highly recommended. We can not find the words to do justice to such a beautiful place. Wonderful views, and such polite lovely people. We could have quite easily stayed if it wasn't for having to go to work!!! Great central location that we used as a base for cycling.

Great central location that we used as a base for cycling. Local amenities are nearby but reached via a road so a car/ bike is essential. Great grounds to explore with peacocks roaming freely, although they can be noisy in the morning this did not spoil our holiday.

Tullibole Castle Longhouse is a spectacular place to spend a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of normal life. It is clean, comfortable, has everything you could possibly need plus it has wonderful views.
