Situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this quaint cottage offers a perfect base to explore Yorkshire.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, bed linen, towels and high speed fibre Wi-Fi included. . Small front garden. Small rear patio with garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Tucked away in the quiet hamlet of Linton Falls, set in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this lovingly furnished and co-ordinated cottage, with new kitchen in 2021, enjoys a stunning position with expansive views from the rear over the River Wharfe. There are walking opportunities right from the door including easy river walks, as well as more challenging hill walking. On the way back call in at the local pub, just ½ mile away from the cottage, where good food is served together with a selection of ales, wines and spirits.

Grassington plays host to a Summer Arts Festival where famous singers, poets and authors gather, and if you plan on coming, make sure you purchase tickets for the last night party which is always headlined by a well known artist or band. In winter the town holds the Dickensian Festival which really gets into the spirit of Christmas. The town also has a broad selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, giving you the option of self catering, fine dining or pub grub. The traditional market town of Skipton is just over 8 miles away, and has a Norman castle standing proudly at the head of a broad sweeping high street. Take a canal trip, have a swim in the indoor pool, play golf or simply explore this historic town. A little further afield lies the city of York, The Brontë Country and the Lake District National Park, all within easy driving distance. Shop and restaurant 1 mile, pub ½ mile.

Perfect cottage, could not fault it. Excellent location, amazing views, well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Really cute Christmas decorations! Very clean.We have been before and it's as good as I remember it. Grassington has everything you need and only a short walk away. Plenty of local eateries. A***

Just perfect.

Love the cottage. Love the area. So much to see and do. Great river view and plenty of room inside. Black our curtains would have been nice and if I get to meet the rooster down the road, I'd have a strong word with it. It does wake up early! All that said, we would come back in a heartbeat!

A few glitches detracting from a great venue and location.

Booking process was simple. On arrival the key had not been left as organised/instructed. In fact it was locked in the property. We managed to get hold of the owners, who were brilliant, they got in touch with the management company and 15mins later arrived with a master set of keys. Fred to think how long it could have been out of hours. We were in. The photos in the listing are accurate reflection of the property and it’s a lovely little place. There are a few minor issues that I will contact the management company about directly. Would we stay again, Yes and probably for longer.

We have stayed in many cottages and houses over the years and I'm reluctant to say (incase by saying this there'll never be a vacancy again!) that it is way up there as one of the best. Its situation right next to the river is perfect and the cottage itself is so comfortable, attractive and homely with absolutely every consideration catered for. I'm sure we will return provided that it isn't deservedly booked up for the next ten years! :) Thank you. Patricia

Beautiful Cottage in a wonderful location, bit of a climb up hill to the lovely village of Grassingt

Beautiful Cottage in a wonderful location, bit of a climb up hill to the lovely village of Grassington , a lovely flat walk along the river, the cottage has every thing you need only two small gripes, the mirrors are okay if you're six foot tall and the toilet roll holder in the bathroom is in a silly place. The Fountain Inn is the best place to eat. The Village of the Bronte family was are favourite place too visit.

We enjoyed our stay in Inglenook Cottage. The location was great and the view from the cottage window was so relaxing, we are missing it! The cottage itself was spacious and well equipped and very importantly the beds were comfortable. We would definitely book again and would recommend it to anyone.

The pictures don't do either the cottage or location justice. This is a truly outstanding property - the best we've ever stayed in. The children absolutely loved it. Lots of nice touches by the owners including a bottle of prosecco on arrival. The location is right next to the waterfall which is just a short walk to the small town of Grassington with it's shops, cafes and pubs. Highly recommended.
