Separate Toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Enclosed lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. Please note: Couples, family bookings and holidaymakers only. The property has a natural water supply from a spring.. Roundhill is an extremely comfortable, three bedroom, detached, bungalow, situated in a rural area on the Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire border, close to Chipping Warden. The property is ideal to get away and relax in the countryside, where you can discover the many walks and cycle routes found along the numerous bridleways and footpaths in this area. There are also many pubs serving good food in within a few miles from Roundhill. There are many attractions in the area including Sulgrave Manor, Canons Ashby, Castle Ashby and Althorp House, the birthplace of Princess Diana. Silverstone circuit, home of many race events including the British Grand Prix, Moto GP, Silverstone Classic, FIA World endurance Championship, British Superbikes and British Touring Car Championships and many other events and driving experiences. Within a 30-minute drive you can be in Bicester Village, Shakespeare’s Stratford Upon Avon and the Cotswolds, with its pretty towns and villages. A little further away, but well worth a visit, is the historic university city of Oxford. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

What a fantastic place.

What a fantastic place. Horses in the fields all around quiet and peaceful location excellent base for exploring the area. We didnt want for anything . Wonderful welcome with freshly baked cake for the week and wine etc wow!!!! There is the griffin pub about a half hours walk away and a kids playground. Shops are a short drive away. Beautiful countryside. Host Liz was amazing and kind . Beds are nice a firm i like that as spongey beds hurt my back. Plenty of pillows. Wifi and telly good for my son haha . Excellent value will be booking again many thanks

Wonderful peaceful cottage.

Wonderful peaceful cottage. This was the best cottage we have stayed at. The welcome pack was fantastic and the home made cake delicious, thank you for all those hidden goodies. We even had a delivery of home made raspberries which was much appreciated. Plenty space for dog walking and exercising. Very friendly owner who we enjoyed our chats with. Smart TV is a bonus for using Netflix and SkyStore (If you have accounts). Overall. I could not fault this cottage, it was perfect for us having a lovely peaceful holiday. A wonderful cottage in a peaceful location with friendly and welcoming owners. Scrupulously clean and comfortable - with everything thought of that you need to cook, relax and explore the area. It was a perfect holiday for us all. Highlights were visiting the beautiful resident ponies and Geocaching locally in big loop walks. We all returned very refreshed and happy. Perfect! We were delighted to be the first post lockdown guests at Roundhill, following 17 weeks of shielding

We were delighted to be the first post lockdown guests at Roundhill, following 17 weeks of shielding! It was the perfect place, due to its isolation, yet encouraged us to walk from the door and enjoy the fabulous scenery. Liz,the owner, was so kind both prior to our arrival and throughout. She had very good understanding of Covid 19 measures and the bungalow was extremely well equipped with hand washes, anti-bacterial sprays etc. This made us feel very safe. The welcome pack was outstanding , the best we have encountered during over 40 years of self-catering. The property is really well-equipped including items like a hot water bottle and cooler box! We highly recommend this property and hope to return in the near future. Thank you Liz. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
