close to Brush creek trails and motor cycle trails, there are great riding trails available for those who want to bring their horses.

A easy day trip to the bridge, or take a day trip over to Petoskey are Traverse City, then return back to the quiet peaceful cottage for a nice camp fire, close to Alpena for shopping or dinning, Thunder Bay Golf Resort just minuets away, also close to Elk Ridge Golf Resort.
