This Luxurious 18th century farm house has been completely modernized to a high standard. The house is a 15 min drive to Waterford City and 10 min drive from the Greenway, itā€™s a 30 min drive to kilkenny City. This property features WiFi a large Garden with seating area with beautiful views. Private sunny courtyard to the front of the property in a quiet cul de sac of two houses. This property is located 10 mins drive from the start of the Greenway 20 mins from Tramore beach which is renowned for its surfing 30 mins from the beautiful costal village of Dunmore East with its famous adventure centre 30 mins drive from Mount Juliet Golf & Country Club with a golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The Mahon Falls, JFK Memorial and the Hook Light House are all aprox 30 mins drive.
The property has 3 bedrooms 2 shower rooms , downstairs has one bedroom with a king size bed and one with two adult size bunk beds these bedrooms share a bathroom which has a shower and toilet.
There is a large kitchen with all amenities and a dining area that seats 8 people. Upstairs has a queen bed and en suite which has a shower and toilet.
There is a local pub which has a courtesy car available 7 nights a week. The Thatch Cottage Cafe is conveniently located nearby which serves breakfast lunch and light snacks up to 5 from Tuesday to Sunday. A local pizza house is also available with delivery. A convenience supermarket is located 10 mins drive away.
Adaire Springs Angling Centre is a 10 min drive from the property and Dunmore East Sea Angling is 30 mind drive.
A little further drive will get you to The Rock of Cashel -60mins Castlecomer Discovery Park 50mins and Ardmore Open Farm 55 mins .
You will fall in love with this house with its beautiful walks and pure tranquility with only sounds coming from the trees.

Really Relaxing Location

We spent 2 nights at Nancyā€™s while we explored the Waterford area. It was clean, quiet, and the grounds were beautiful. The interior is beautifully decorated and there was plenty of space for four adults. We had the unexpected pleasure of visiting with two adorable kitties, too, who wanted to be by us and would follow us on walks. A very nice stay!

Family get away

It was a nice quiet house out of town. It was clean comfortable and comfy. The beds were a little soft for my liking but slept great. There was good information for eating options.

Lovely location and nice house. Roads are a bit intimidating to get there, but it is worth the effort. Kitchen was well stocked, and it was a pleasant surprise to have coffee and tea supplies for our first day.

House was clean, good Wi-Fi, washer dryer, small dishwasher, kitchen well equipped. Some food staples, e.g., cooking oil tea, salt pepper vinegar provided. Communication with host was easy and quick. Our disappointment was that house was not near the greenway. In fact it is 5 miles from Greenway and they are not walkable miles.

Nice property outside Waterford

The home was spacious enough for our group of 3 kids and 3 adults. It had the basics for cooking, enough dinnerware to accommodate our meals at home and hairdryers so we did not have to use converters. The cows across the street and cats in the yard were a highlight, as well as the space to kick a soccer ball around. We really enjoyed the accommodations and the location.

Location misleading

This was a lovely house in a great location, but the description of the location was very misleading. The title said it was "Beside the Greenway" (it is over 2km away and the other side of the river) and the listing shows it as being in Waterford (it is in fact approx 5km to the north west).Notwithstanding, it was a great house.

Nice farm house near Waterford

Beautiful decoration, quite neighborhood, not too far from Waterford and large enough to fit 8 people easily. All amentities and kitchenware are as listed. Host provide eir code to enter into google map for precise location which is a big plus. Two thumbs up to whoever did the cleaning. The place is very clean when we first access the property. Overall, we strongly recommend this place.

Absolutely perfect

We traveled to Ireland for 5 days to celebrate our wedding anniversary and wanted a quiet place to stay vs a loud and busy hotel. We rented a car, navigating highways and roads was very easy. We were able to experience Ireland from Kilkenny Castle to Blarney to Waterford, Midleton, Cork and many villages in between. This location couldnā€™t be positioned better and more central to everywhere youā€™ll want to go. Thereā€™s a grocery store that delivers to the house or equally as convenient to go out and shop yourself. Our favorite market was Corks English Market and while far from the house it was something we did at the end of that day and youā€™ll find an incredible assortment of foods. We had breakfast one day in Waterford just before our private tour of Waterford Crystal. Breakfast was at the Granville Hotel and while we werenā€™t guests we were able to enjoy a 5 star breakfast without the chaos of staying in a hotel environment. Also parking in Waterford was a lot easier than we ever expected due to ample parking in large parking lots. We flew into Dublin and the drive down to the house was great and we found local places to stop at along the way. Again, this location was central to everything so youā€™re not stuck in a specific town at the end of every day. Clare was very accessible and made the entire experience easy. The house was fully stocked with everything you may need with exception of food and bottled water. All living areas were clean and tidy. All the beds were made upon arrival and towels laid out. The showers had great pressure and plenty of hot water. I could go on and on about how great the VRBO experience was at this location but you simply have to experience it for yourself. Also, if youā€™d like a local pub experience The Foxes Den in Kilmacow is worth a visit. Itā€™s local hard working Irish people the love to laugh, sing and are so welcoming. Thank you Clare

Lovely stay!

We stayed here in August 2022 with 4 adults and 2 kids. We were so impressed by the care and thought that has gone into making the house cozy and welcoming. Finishes are beautifully updated. The house is outside of town in a quiet and peaceful spot. We would definitely stay here again if weā€™re in the area!

Fantastic property - perfect for both kids and adults

This is a superb farmhouse and is a perfect stay for those traveeling with kids. Our little ones loved the toyroom in the barn, seeing the cows in the adjacent fields and the bunk beds. It would also be a great for any couples or adult groups looking for a peaceful break. The house is renovated to a high quality with all the mod cons that you need. The Smart TV's in the kitchen and the living room kept the kids entertained with Netflix when they were inside but most of the time we were all taking advantage of the large outdoor space. The host is very responsive and even came to collect our garbage bags which were filling the outside bin ahead of the next collection which wasn't due for a while (we were there for 10 days so had a lot of trash). The location is great for exploring Tramore, Waterford (our kids loved the little railway), and Kilkenny. We would definately return here again.

Perfect Christmas getaway

Very pleased with our stay the house was beautiful inside and outdoors only 1 small issue as it was a cold December night there wasn't enough coal and firewood the house did get chilly later on in the night but would definitely book again in the summer

Beautiful serene location

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Itā€™s country location was quiet and serene. The house was perfect just like the pictures. The hostess left us breakfast items that were much appreciated and so thoughtful! Weā€™d definitely come back to this beautiful home.

Lovely stay!

This was hands down our favorite place we stayed during our whole trip. It was perfectly clean, they left a welcome basket with breakfast materials in it, great size and adorable! We loved our stay so much, we wish we had been able to stay more nights. On a backroad, so just be cautious, but worth every penny!

Beautiful country stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this well-appointed house. The property was just like the pictures. We had cows in the field next door, and kittens that visited every day. It was the perfect location for our relaxing family vacation!
