Zoo House Chester - 400m from the Lions!
If you’re planning to visit Chester Zoo, this is the home for you! From the front step it is only a 5 minute and 30 second walk to the zoo entrance (I know because I timed it). You can even hear the lions roaring and the monkeys grunting from the house!
Comfortable & spacious accommodation for up to 8 travellers with 1 King Size Bed, 1 Double Bed, Bunk Beds & a Sofa Bed (bedding & towels provided).

The space
This spacious and newly refurbished 3 bedroom house can sleep 8 people comfortably and is the perfect retreat for families.
The house has been kitted out with Children in mind and includes a high chair, travel cot, toys, bunk beds, DVD's and more! All the bedrooms have recently been decorated along with a brand new bathroom, downstairs toilet facilities and kitchen (the full bathroom has a shower/bath combo).
Games and toys are available for guests to enjoy during their stay. There is also a smart TV hooked up to a DVD player with lots of children's DVD's.
Kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer together with all the utensils / pans you'll need. Tea & Coffee making facilities are provided.
Bathroom with over shower, large towels and floor mats. Hair Dryer, Iron & Ironing board, Broadband provided throughout the property. FREE private parking for up to 3 cars. Bedding/Towels included.
Guest access
You have access to the entire house and there is a driveway with private parking for up to 3 cars.
To make check in as smooth as possible, Key collection is via a key-safe - further details will be sent to you upon booking.
Also enjoy some outdoors time at the back of the house, which is perfect for listening to the animals (yes it’s that close), eating a meal, or enjoying the beautiful summer weather with a game of chess.
Interaction with guests
My aim is to leave you alone during your stay - however If you need any help or advice on Chester during your stay I’d be happy to help, my contact details are on the House Manual. I also live locally and have a good knowledge of the area.
