The property is situated in a tranquil villa area and is a private owners villa that has the whole ground floor level with the pool available for rent with 3 double bedrooms,ensuite and main bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and living room and access to the pool deck area, which also includes a barbecue area.All rooms and bedrooms overlook the pool area & garden, enjoying lots of tranquillity. Most rooms have just been refurbished this year.

Washing machine and free on-site parking are also provided.

The property sleeps up to 4 persons and offers a double bedroom with ensuite, a main bathroom, two twin bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with dining facilities as well as a living area with LCD TV with over 100 channels in a number of languages. Free wifi and washing machine are also provided.
Outdoor area includes a large pool approx 30 feet X 16 feet and a kids splash pool. Spacious deck area and garden with bbq and dining facilities is also provided.


House Rules:
Feel at home in this property but please be respectful of this home and its contents as well as the tranquillity of the area. Smoking allowed only outdoors.No parties. This rental is for holidays only, not commercial purposes. It is not allowed to bring other people to the apartment - only the paying guests are allowed in the property and use of pool. (If you need to invite a few more persons other than the paying guests, talk to us first.) The apartment shall be left as clean as possible (washing of cutlery, plates, trash emptied etc.) You are responsible for any damages to the property.
USE OF POOL
Pool is not shared with other guests. It is occasionally shared with owners.Use of pool is not normally allowed after 8pm. Pool rules to be followed at all times for your own safety. Use of pool at your own risk. No lifeguard in attendance.

Beautiful house & friendly hosts.

We stayed at the house for 4 nights & had the best time. The hosts were brilliant in communicating with us before the trip and so friendly once we arrived. They had prepared a platter of sandwiches & water for us in the fridge which was extremely welcome after our long trip! The pool was perfect and the house was so clean. We were situated close by to the bus stop to get to the beach easily & to be able to access the local supermarket. Overall just a brilliant stay and will definitely be returning in the future.

Great holiday

This apartment provides everything you need. Three bedrooms, two very large clean bathrooms. One with tub one with shower. Plenty of towels and bedding provided. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a bbq available. The pool is superb, always clean and warm. Mariella and Bernard couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Always available by phone but allow you your own privacy. Mariella provided a welcome pack for our late arrival which was much appreciated. It is only a 10 minute stroll to a large supermarket and the main bus stops running to Valletta and the ferry to Gozo. If you don’t want to hire a car this is ideal. I couldn’t recommend this place any higher.

Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen! Perfekt als Ausgangspunkt zu Tagestouren, wunderbar, um den Tag am Pool ausklingen zu lassen, sehr hilfsbereite, aber jederzeit diskrete Vermieter!

Super Ort für Familien!

Wir haben hier unsere erste Reise nach Malta verbraucht und haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich, angefangen von der Kommunikation vor der Reise, bis zum Aufenthalt vor Ort. Die Wohnung an sich ist praktisch und groß. Wir waren zu viert ( 2 Erwachsene + 2 Kinder) und hatten noch Betten frei für mindestens noch 2 Personen. Handtücher und Bettwäsche hat man vor Ort, an der Ausstattung fehlt es an nichts. Der Pool ist natürlich magisch und wir konnten es ganz alleine für uns benutzen, speziell für Kindern ist es toll hier, sie konnten sich austoben, während wir am Gasgrill waren und sie dabei beobachten konnten. Die Lage war sehr ruhig und von hier kommt man in ca. 15 Minuten Autofahrt zu den schönsten Strände auf Malta. Parkplätze findet man problemlos an der Straße. Es war ein schöner Urlaub, Dankeschön dafür :-)

Im schönen Norden Maltas

Dieser Ort ist sehr schön, ruhig, erholsam, mit vielen Möglichkeiten! Der Pool ist toll. Es ist groß und wird ziemlich tief, hat aber einen schönen kleinen Kinderpool für die Kleinkinder. Es gab sogar diverse Wasserspielzeuge. Es gibt einen großen offenen Poolbereich mit vielen Liegen, Sonnenschirm, Tisch und Stühlen und einem Gasgrill. Wir lieben es im Urlaub die Mahlzeiten im Freien einzunehmen. Acht Personen können ohne Probleme am Tisch sitzen. Die Küche ist ein Ort der Begegnung, groß und geräumig, mit für Urlaubsbedürfnisse ausreichender Ausstattung. Die drei Schlafzimmer hatten alle bequeme Betten und genug Schränke. Es gibt ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne und Toilette und ein weiteres Bad mit Dusche/WC im Hauptschlafzimmer. Es gab ausreichend Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen Deckenventilator und einen Standventilator und ganz wunderbar, Fliegengitter. Ganz besonders haben wir uns über den liebevollen Empfang gefreut. Im Kühlschrank gab es massig Sandwichs, ausreichend kühles Wasser und im Eisfach lag sogar ein leckeres Wassereis zur Erfrischung. Wir hatten ein Auto, Linksverkehr sollte einen nicht abschrecken, ist absolut machbar. Aufgrund der Größe ist auf Malta eigentlich jeder Ort innerhalb einer knappen Stunde Fahrtzeit erreichbar. Wir waren Abends in Valletta, St.Julians, Sliema und Paola. Außerdem liebten wir die Sonnenuntergänge in der Umgebung des Golden Bay/Ghajn Tuffieha.

Très bon accueil et belle piscine

Très bien accueillis malgré l’heure tardive d’arrivée avec des bons conseils de visites et de restaurants Logement très spacieux avec une très grande piscine dans un quartier calme Présence de ventilateurs mais pas de climatisation (ce qui aurait été plus appréciable dans les chambres au mois d’août très chaud!) Possibilité de se garer dans la cour ++++ Nous recommandons ce logement

Perfect for family or dive holiday in Malta! Would book again on future visit!

Only 3rd review on VRBO, but on another website the accommodation gets an 4.8 on 10 reviews. So don't let that scare you! We can just confirm the positive reviews here. We were unlucky that we travelled via Schiphol in May 2022, so we arrived more than 3 hours late at the accommodation. It was late evening by then, so the host prepared a list with take-out we could order and - as seems to be her habit - provided a plate of sandwiches for our arrival together with chilled water. The pictures don't even do the accommodation justice. At least I want to stress that the garden is located next to the swimming pool, which makes for a very nice private space. There is even a toilet and shower (which are clean) at the swimming pool, which is not mentioned or shown. The hosts live on the first floor of the accommodation. Half of the groundfloor (street side) is rented separately without access to the pool/garden. The hosts were very friendly and willing to help when requested, but we had our complete privacy unless we asked. The swimming pool is big, the little pool for the little kids perfect for our 10 month-old baby. I did read something about the state of the swimming pool, but during Covid lockdowns a lot of things were renovated, including the pool, so that comment is not valid anymore. The accommodation was spacious, even with all our baby-gear. You can't watch TV with a big group, but as mentioned in another comment, why would you want to do that? We mostly ate outside. Another perk is that you can hand over food/plates/etc. directly from the kitchen to the outdoor table, with a mosquito net that can be closed when not passing anything. Regarding the location, I want to mention that for us (3 adults with a 10-month old baby) there were enough restaurants on walking distance with a stroller. Maybe to far too walk with little kids. Mellieha is of course the quite part of the island, ideal for resting and diving, so if that is your intent, book this accommodation! We even consider booking this accommodation again if we would return to Malta. If you want to party, look at a different part of the island. If I need to share some downsides, nothing that keeps us from giving a 5-start review: - There is no airconditioning. The ceiling and pedestal fans did the job for us though - As anywhere in Mellieha, a rental car is strongly advised to travel

Lovely place! Book now!

Was a bit wary of booking this place as it had no reviews. Think it might be reviewed on other sites so do a bit of looking if you're also wary. Anyway, I shouldn't have been wary. This place is great! The pool is awesome. It's big, and gets quite deep, but does have a nice little kiddie pool for the toddlers and some steps down into the pool. It feels a little tired - some tiles are coming off and either the water level is low or the sides are really high. But it's still great! There's a large open deck area with loungers, table and chairs and a gas bbq. We really appreciated this and loved eating dinner al fresco. The kitchen/diner/lounge is reasonably sized and equipped and was perfect for our needs. You can seat 6 at the dinner table, but probably only 3 on the sofa... but then why would you want to be inside when it's so lovely out? The kitchen had mostly everything we needed and when something was missing our hosts were so happy to provide! The three bedrooms all had reasonably comfortable beds and storage. There's a bathroom with a bath and an ensuite toilet/shower in the master bedroom. Washing machine in the ensuite if you need to wash anything. Our hosts provided loads of towels and all bedding. Each room has a ceiling fan and a pedestal fan plus mozzie netting windows to try to keep things cool. Whilst the house was sparsely furnished and decorated this was, in fact, great as we have a toddler that has a tendency to break things. There were actually a few kids toys and games there already which were a great distraction! As mentioned, our hosts were excellent. We were met in person and Mariella and her family were all so nice to us. We felt like family guests rather than customers. The area is comfortable, quiet and safe. Mellieha beach is a 10 minute drive away, as are the main shops and restaurants, and there's a good supermarket less than 5 minutes drive away. It's around 10 minutes to the sandy beaches at L'Armier and 15 minutes to get to the Gozo ferry . So if you're after a family holiday with sun, beach, pool and a really nice accommodation space: pick this place now. You won't be disappointed.
