Cozy Detached Guest Cottage on Mill Pond

This lovely detached guest cottage features a queen-sized bed, full kitchen, and full bathroom. It is part of a larger tree covered two acre property with 254 feet of frontage on Mill Pond. Although called a "pond", Mill Pond has a six-foot tide twice-a-day from the ocean. Guests are welcome to use the fire pit and patio by Mill Pond. The unit sleeps 2 adults in the Queen-Sized bed. We also have a pack and play that guests with a small child can use free of charge. One covered parking space is also included. The unit has heat, air conditioner, wireless internet and a TV with DVD and Netflix/Amazon.

Absolutely loved this cozy cottage! love the warmth and charm of this cottage, the view of Mill Pond is so tranquil, the property itself is pretty, lined up with big beautiful old trees, a 2 person swing, and a cozy firepit all done in such good taste. Everything we needed was there and the bed is comfortable, loved the decor and the cleanliness.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this charming guest cottage on Mill Pond! From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcomed. The cottage is cozy and well appointed—with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The setting is absolutely beautiful. Nestled among the trees on a spacious, private property, the cottage offers lovely views of Mill Pond. Our hosts were kind and respectful of our privacy. The covered parking space was another plus. All in all, this place was a perfect little getaway—peaceful, quiet, comfortable, and filled with charm. We’d love to return!

Oh, I don't want to rhapsodize too much as then it would be booked when we want to come again.It is perfect for 2 people. It's a lovely private Maine location for those who enjoy being out in nature, yet close to a town.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodations were perfect for the two of us. The cottage is tucked away but still it was easy to get to the harbor or different places to visit. Our hosts, Celeste and Tom were very inviting and helped with things to do and see. I’d love to come back one day.

A Real Gem

My fiancée and I booked this place at the last minute and it surpassed our expectations. It’s got everything you need. Beautiful little cottage, very cozy. Tom and Celeste are fantastic hosts, they gave us some great tips about the local area. The place was clean, check in and check out was super easy. It was the perfect spot for our anniversary. Book it!

We loved this cottage, the immediate surroundings, and the overall location. The cottage was spotless, well furnished, tranquil and relaxing with lovely nearby walks, and convenient for driving into Boothbay Harbor and to other sites we wanted to visit. We didn't want to leave and are already thinking about when we could return!

Peaceful and charming

The house and property were very well kept, clean and orderly. Peace and quiet are the most important factors to us. The hosts were available and helpful and also respected our privacy. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cottage get away

Very comfortable stay at this cottage. All the essentials were provided, bed and couch very comfortable, cottage was very clean. We were there during a heat wave so it was great to have AC! Enjoyed the beautiful yard and pond views. Short drive to Boothbay Harbor and scenic East Boothbay coast. Top notch communication with the hosts. Highly recommend!

Very nice property!

Very well equipped and clean! Great communication with the owners and they made sure we had everything we needed. Easy check-in and checkout. Small guest house but it “lives big”. Beautiful location from Downtown Harbor and Ocean Point. Been traveling to Boothbay for over 50 yrs. (yes we are old). Started by camping there and then to many different cottages over the years. I must say this is one of the top two on the list. Looking forward to staying there again! Can I say, relaxing property!

This cottage had a comfortable firm bed and a very good shower. The inside was plenty roomy and the kitchen had all that we needed. The heater worked well. The yard is beautiful, especially looking over Mill Pond. We hope to return again someday.

Quaint but damp

My husband and I enjoyed the bnb for the most part - perfect kitchen amenities, beautiful view of the bay, cute little general store a short walk away. But we did notice it was pretty damp INSIDE the bnb our whole stay. There is no AC system, so the humidity builds up during the day, especially on rainy days and especially after a shower. Our clothes and the sheets/towels were damp to the touch our whole stay and smelled a little musty. An easy fix with a dehumidifier I think.

Lovely little cottage in a peaceful setting

This cottage was perfect for our stay. It is comfortable, clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped. The view down to the pond is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and charming -- we really enjoyed being in East Boothbay, as compared to the busier and more crowded Boothbay Harbor. There are several good hiking trails in the area, and so many other interesting things to do. Highly recommend! We would happily stay here again.

Beautiful, quiet spot

This was such a peaceful spot to celebrate my birthday. We spent hours just sitting by the mill pond watching the various birds fish. There is a great little store, a bar & a restaurant within walking distance so we didn't leave our little neighborhood at all the first 2 days we were there.

Wonderful getaway

This is a wonderful place to stay! The views over the pond are lovely, and the inside is furnished comfortably. It’s peaceful and away from the more touristy areas, but easy to drive to town, the beach, and hiking nearby.

Beautiful and peaceful spot

The little cottage was perfect us for, lovely and well equipped. Sitting by picturesque mill pond in the Adirondack chairs provided was so peaceful. Walks along the road to the public put in and other coastal areas along Linekin Bay was splendid! Wonderful spot in great location!

Fabulous Getaway!

Beautiful place

We had a great time staying in the cottage. It’s cozy, clean, and has everything you need for two people. But the highlight of this property is the location, right on peaceful Mill Pond. There are Adirondack chairs,a fire-pit, and a picnic table next to the lake that guests can use to relax or eat by the water. The host, Tom, was kind and responsive. Highly recommended base for a Maine vacation.
