Welcome to another season at SaltofTheHarbor,com. We have 5 waterfront rentals on North Rustico Harbor this year. Rockys house was Fully Renovated summer 2016 this is one of our 2 newest waterfront vacation home in North Rustico with 2 bedroom and 2 full bathroom, house is perfect for 2 couples, one bedroom on the main floor and second bedroom with an ensuite bathroom upstairs. Amazing views of the harbor, short walk to resturants grocery store, fish market, novelty shops and local summer entertainment. High speed internet, A/C, laundry, dishwasher, BBQ and note that rentals are weekly Sunday to Sunday.

Enjoyable Visit to PEI

Property was basic but very clean and well located. TV set up was really unusable and complicated. Should have something more user friendly. Even staff couldn't get it functioning. Otherwise, the house was well equipped. Good location for touring the Island. Ate lobster every day at local restaurants or purchased at local sea-food store. Stuff friendly and very helpful.

Exceeded Expectations

We were met by Lisa, amazing and wonderful person, who provided us with a tour and of the property and introduced us to where you go in the town from food to fishing expeditions and left us with a book of PEI tourist pamphlets and a Park Pass to the National Parks. The views of the harbor in the morning were wonderful and we appreciated the peacefulness on the location. We were not lacking things to do , wonderful sand beaches were a 5 minute car ride or a 15 minute walk, boutiques in the village were wonderful as were the shops at Rustico Harbor. We were 35 minutes to Charlottetown and the same distance the other way to Summerside and only a 10 minute drive to Cavendish! Seafood was abundant and we enjoyed dining out at the local places. All in all a 10 of 10 and plan on returning!

Wonderful location in North Rustico

North Rustico is a cute little town right on the coast. This home has a balcony that allows you to overlook the harbour. You can see people coming and going where the fishing boats are kept. Just down the waters edge is a great little fish store where you can buy freshly caught fish, etc. There’s a very nice public trail that takes you along the coast to the light house/restaurant/gift shop. The house is very nicely decorated and clean. Was nice to be able to eat outside on the deck. Are only issue was that we happened to be there during an unusually warm spell and the upstairs bedroom didn’t have air conditioning. It did cool down overnight with the windows open. The owner is very helpful and friendly.

Rockies House Review

The original property we rented was having plumbing work done so Kelvin asked if we would mine staying in a property a few houses away. We took it and found the property actually was larger than our original rental and in the same location. The house was a wonderful seaside cottage. It’s a great location and walking distance to various restaurants and stores in North Rustico. I do think Kelvin needs to communicate a little better. We didn’t hear from him regarding what to do when we arrived at the property and had to contact him to see where the keys would be when we arrived. Also, I text him to let him know we had checked out but I never received a response. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property to stay at.

Restful week in a beautiful community

Rocky's House is a nice refuge by the shore of a beautiful harbor. The house is comfortable, well-equipped and was a nice home away from home. The front veranda provides a nice perch to watch the activity in the harbour and provided many tranquil hours reading and visiting. The house is well-equipped with everything that you might need and is well maintained. Early in our stay the owner dropped by to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and to make himself available should anything arise. The location is terrific. Everything in the Village is a few minutes walk away and the house is very near the start of the Sea Walk which leads to the North Rustico beach. The stay at Rocky House was exactly what we were looking for this summer.

Comfortable home close to local attractions

Rocky’s House was a great place to stay while we toured central PEI. We had many great restaurants nearby to chose from. We enjoyed checking out the Ospreys that were nesting in the park a block away from the house. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and cutlery. The only downside was that there wasn’t a toaster and we could have used a few more towels. We would definitely stay at Rocky’s House again if we are in PEI.

Updated and very clean

This was a great location to take day trips. Small fishing village but has gas station, grocery store, and restaurants within walking distance. People were very friendly and helpful! The only thing I noticed lacking was enough towels and washcloths. Owner was very helpful when we had a question and lives close by.

A charming little cottage right on the harbour.

My husband and I loved our stay at Rocky's house in early October. Everything was clean and so nicely updated. The sunrises were spectacular, and the walk along the boardwalk during the blustery evenings was a great way to end the day. Our favourite restaurant of the trip, The Blue Mussel Café, was only minutes away as well. We would definitely stay here again, thanks for a lovely little vacation.

Quaint waterfront property

This property was a dream. We were able to sit out front on the porch and experience a peaceful ocean view. This was a great location for us to head out each day to explore a different part of the island then come back and relax. It had enough room for the two of us and was well equipped.

Great vacation

North Rustico is an absolutely charming little village and the cottage was great. It was very clean and an easy walk to the grocery store and fish hut. I would recommend this location and rental property to anyone.
