Panoramic retreat with pool near Taormina and Sea

Panoramic house set in an unspoiled and peaceful setting with private pool. From its private garden and shaded terraces a wonderful view unfold in front of your eyes: the green valley of the Alcantara river gently reaching into the bay of Giardini Naxos, whose renowned sandy beaches and cafes are just 15 minutes away by car.

Villa Acquerello consists of two identical apartments each with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a kitchen and a living room. In one living room there is a single sofa bed and in a corner of the other living room a single bed can be added. The house therefore can host up to 10 people and it is the ideal place for families and friends who want to enjoy their privacy, the sound of nature and a sweeping view every morning, and celebrate glorious days of pure relax.

The closest restaurant, which it also a good one, is at about 700 meters.

N.B. Villa Acquerello is all on the ground floor. The ladder you see on the pictures is purely decorative. It leads to a mezzanine that is closed.
N.B. The location of Villa Acquerello is uniquely peaceful, but in order to reach it you will have to drive over an unpaved and steep road for the last bit.

A hedge partially surrounds the private pool which is open from half April until October.
It measures 11 x 5,50 m and it is 1,40 m deep.

We had amazing time at the Villa. We loved its location and privacy and the views were incredible. It was in a good position to explore lots of Eastern Sicily-Taormina and Siracusa were stunning and I would highly recommend it!

Fantastic hosts, and everything was top-notch with key pickup, drop-off, and assistance with questions. The house is beautifully situated on a quiet plot. Lovely pool area with sun loungers for all nine of us. I can only recommend this house if you want to see Sicily and Mount Etna from the east side, as there is good access to the beautiful cities.????

All in all we really enjoyed our stay! Especially the view from the house(s) is truly great. Some of the outdoor furniture should be replaced as some of the chairs are broken. We were able to do an early checkin and a late checkout, which was really nice. Thank you!

This is an amazing place. So beautiful. We enjoyed the view, the pool, the garden, the privacy - everything. This house was the perfect base for our family with 3 18-20 year olds. Great hospitality, easy to communicate - even though we don't speak italian. House had everything we needed - also for cooking. We would love to come back

Great for cycling holiday (if you like climbing)

We stayed in this villa for a cycling trip with six people. For this purpose, the villa is great with a nice location for numerous trips, a pool to cool down in, and a breathtaking view when relaxing after a ride. There are some nice little towns around, a bit off the beaten track. The house has six beds (excl. the couches) so with six everyone has his/her own bed. Kitchen is equipped well enough to cook for all. Only downside is the steep, gravel road you need to climb and descent on each trip. Quite a challenge with both bike and rental car.

The house is very nice and clean. We rented both apartments because we were 8 people. There’s AC inside and nice washing machines (however no dishwasher). The location is beautiful with a view of the mountains and even a bit of the sea. Very quiet area with only a few neighbours (no one who can look at the garden, house or pool area, which was nice and private). The street leading to the house is extremely steep and narrow. We would recommend only going there in smaller cars. All in all we had a great stay. The owner was very nice and even dropped by and cleaned the pool one very early morning during the stay and brought brand new furniture for the garden. We definitely recommend staying at the house!

We (family of four, kids 8 and 15 years old) had a great stay in Giulia's place. The location was very good to access the area around Taormina and Etna, the house had everything we needed and the pool was fantastic (amazing views all around!). A great restaurant with typical Italian dishes was also just next to the house. Communication and check-in/check-out was also very easy and smooth. On the (minor) negative side, I would note that the seating area in the house itself is a bit basic and could maybe be made a bit more comfortable. This is by no means a big deal as we spent most of our time outside and around the pool. Finally, a word of warning on access: the road to get to the house is a small dirt road that at a couple of spots can be quite bumpy. People renting a small city car might find going up and down challenging. Overall a great stay and highly recommended!

Villa au calme, spacieuse avec une vue panoramique magnifique. Logement très bien équipé ( lave vaisselle, lave linge, produits ménagers, produits d’hygiène, condiments, café …). Grande piscine avec belle vue. Nature luxuriante autour de la maison. Chemin d’accès à la maison qui monte sec et détérioré.

Die Lage ist sehr schön, abseits und ruhig gelegen, toller Ausblick auf die Berge und das Meer. Uns persönlich hat die unmittelbare Umgebung auch sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt viele besondere Naturorte und Dörfer zu entdecken. Das Haus selber ist einfach ausgestattet, es hat jedoch alles, das wir brauchten. Genossen haben wir die Liegestühle, die Sitzgelegenheiten und den Pool, der ein paar Meter vom Haus entfernt und in einwandfreiem Zustand ist und während unseres Aufenthalts mehrmals gereinigt wurde. Der steinige, teilweise steile Weg zum Haus lässt sich mit etwas Übung problemfrei befahren. Die Kommunikation mit Giulia und ihren Partnern war sehr gut, extrem kurze Antwortzeiten und schnelle Lösungen. Also, herzlichen Dank an die Hosts für das schöne Haus und den durchweg sehr guten Service!

Die Lage ist einfach nur unglaublich - inmitten der Natur mit Blick auf das Meer und die Berge, am Abend kommen Pferde vorbei … Erholung pur. Der Kontakt war unkompliziert und es kam sofort jemand, wenn wir Hilfe benötigten.

Great House with Amazing Pool

Even more beautiful than in the pictures!

It is even more idyllic than in the pictures. You can see the sea from the garden, the garden is very nicely made with different plants. The kitchen is equipped with all the items you need, and there are so many chairs and tables that you don't have to carry them around all the time. From the house you can climb on top of the mountain above. In twenty minutes you are at a beautiful, sandy beach, check out the restaurant Pino Verde directly between forest and the sea! Giuseppe was very friendly and quickly responded to our texts, before, during the stay and also after when we forgot something in the house. Only two downsides, there are really no hiking paths starting from the house, you have to take the car, but of course there are many nice areas around. Thanks for the nice vacation!

Nous recommandons cette villa avec sa vue sensationnelle ! L’accès est pentu et le dernier virage est serré (si vous avez un break), mais ça vaut le coup ???? Il s’agit de deux maisonnettes accolées mais non communicantes !
