Charming Vintage Cottage -Walking Distance to Old Town Cottonwood!

The Cottonwood Cottage is a charming vacation home located four blocks from historic Old Time Cottonwood. The cottage has undergone a complete renovation that includes new appliances, new AC and both new and vintage furnishings. This one level cottage is a perfect get-away for two or four persons. The large front porch welcomes you to sit and relax. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The home has a spacious living room, combination dining room and is furnished with a mid-century modern vibe. The open kitchen is well appointed with a variety of items and utensils for cooking or reheating. There is an island for additional counter space. The master bedroom offers a queen size pillow top mattress bed with a large dresser and spacious closet. The second bedroom has two XL twin beds which is accommodating for two adults or two children. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

The large patio in the back yard includes a BBQ and bistro set, vintage shell chairs perfect to enjoy the outdoors. The yard is fenced and dogs under 25 lbs are welcome for an additional non-refundable $50.00 pet deposit.

The home is located in walking distance to Old Town Historical District where you find antique stores, award winning restaurants, coffee and pastry shops, galleries, specialty shopping, kayaking tours and lots of wine tastings. Grab a drink with the locals at one of several historical pubs. (Did you know that Old Town was the bootleg “capital” of Arizona during the prohibition?) Visit the Old Town Cottonwood website for information on special events such as Thunder Valley Rally, Halloween Fun, The Chocolate Walk, Historic Ghost Tours and more.

Cottonwood Cottage is a perfect location for visiting Northern Arizona’s attractions such as; Jerome, Prescott, Sedona, Tuzigoot Ruins, Verde Canyon Railroad, Out of Africa Wild Animal Park, Cliff Castle Casino, Fort Verde, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon.

This is our home away from home. So charming, clean, cozy, and perfectly supplied with everything needed for our stay. Located on a quiet, safe street, yet in easy walking distance of so many restaurants, shops, pubs, etc. Parking at the cottage is safe and secure, as well. This was our 2nd stay here, and we're looking forward to more visits in the future!

Such a cute house, perfectly clean, nicely decorated, stocked with everything you could think of or need. Temperature was perfect (A/C worked well.) Secure parking, nice neighborhood, easy to find, GREAT communication. We instantly felt comfortable there. We liked the queen bed, very comfortable (didn't need/use the twin beds in the other room). We'll be back!!

Cozy & Convenient

Great location, quiet neighborhood and a short walk to Main Street. Comfortable, clean accommodations for two couples or a family of four, furnished with everything we needed! (And Safeway or Fry's not too far away!)(The door lock/combination pad was a bit tricky - usually took us 2 or 3 attempts - but our son was more successful on his first attempt).

We had a wonderful stay at this exceptional and charming cottage! Everything was spotless and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we especially appreciated the lush, high-quality towels. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed, and the appliances were modern and easy to use. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

The home was in an older neighborhood conveniently located right off main street. The house has been updated, was clean and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Tub should have something on nottom of the tub. Very slippery and dangerous. Curtain missing on win

Needed more counter space in bathroom. No curtain on window in front living room. If there were no trees, ppl could see in as I was walking in to the bathroom. Very nerve wrecking. Tub very slippery!!! Blinds were filthy (dusty) It served the purpose. My twin bed was comfortable I wish it had a keurig coffee maker available but the Mr coffee was ok

First poor stay, VRBO encouraged posting

do not book. host changed dates of stay before talking to me about this, was not honest about approving. gave too much unsolicited personal private info about previous guest. other reviews accurate about neighbors not being str friendly, other unsafe neighbors too. not afraid of bugs personally but LARGE (3 inch+) bugs. claimed unreasonable damage i couldn’t have possibly done for an amount not reflective of damage, likely how she pays for maintenance. scam. many local hotel or str options for a better stay with hosts who have integrity nearby. must have had other reviews deleted because i’ve never had such a poor experience. vrbo encouraged this post for others to know about this experience, usually don’t bother and am not nitpicky but this was awful at every juncture.

Walking distance to town, trails and creek

House was cool, comfortable and quiet. Its convenient location allowed us to explore downtown Cottonwood. We were pleasantly surprised to discover back trails to the Riverfront park which we visited each evening.

Great Little Vacation

The house was great. Awesome location that allowed me and my family to walk to Old Town and easily drive all to other locations in the Verde Valley. Check in and check was a breeze. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Cottonwood and the Verde Valley.

Great place close within walking distance to old town

Wife and i enjoyed our time at this rental. It was spacious enough for the two of us and within walking distance of old town. Nice, private patio in the back and overall great experience!

Great little getaway spot

Place was cute, clean, and reasonably priced for what you get. Walk to Old Town Cottonwood in 5 minutes. Good food and lots of wine tasting options. 20 minutes to Sedona and all the hikes! Thanks Cottonwood Cottage, we will be back! And hey....turn that shed out back into a bar or other cool space!

I frequently visit Antelope Canyon and I think it’s either abstract art or not real, the beauty of Antelope Canyon is something everyone should visit while in Arizona.
In the real world, I manage and counsel potential owners that are interested in setting up VRBO properties. I personally own and manage two additional VRBO properties located in Flagstaff, AZ. All my properties carry a VRBO five star rating which I think is awesome due to the overwhelming VRBO competition in my area. I love to bike, hula loop and roller skate. Arizona steals my heart.

Jerome is a short 10 minute drive that has several wine tasting shops. Sedona is 30 minute drive with endless hiking trials and Red Rock beauty. Wine country galore! Check out Cornville for wine tours.
