3-bedroom, 1-bath lake house located in Ray's Bay, Lake Ontario. Private access sits on the water with concrete deck, and the most amazing views. Sunrise to sunset. Great for families or just quiet away time.

Full kitchen, granite countertops, washer & dryer, flat screen TV's. Direct lake access for swimming, fishing, or boating. Relax on the patio for dinner and watch the beautiful sunsets. 5 minute drive to Henderson Harbor, 15 minutes from Sackets Harbor, 55 minutes from Alexandria Bay. Canoe w/ paddles, paddleboat, fire pit, and gas grill are available for guests. No pets and no smoking inside please. No parties. No motor access close up to cottage.

Please see traveler details once booked for more info. No motorized boat access. Boat launch down the road. No boat parking room. Room for 2 cars max!

What of the best experiences we've had in domestic vacation rentals. The cozy house had an beautiful view, a well equipped kitchen with everything one would need.Adorably decorated and comfortable quickky made us feel at home. The host was extremely flexible and hospitable. We'll be back.

Some good, some needs for improvement

Spent 3 nights.Pros: Easy check in process. Roomy living area and bedrooms sufficiently sized. Kitchen was well appointed with appliances and dishes. Bathroom / Laundry room was large and had shower/tub combo. View of sunsets was beautiful. They owners have a canoe, gas grill, water access for use.Cons: While it stated air conditioned, only one window AC in the living room. The unit keeps the living room cool but that's all. AC does not reach the bedroooms. Our first night the temps had been in the 90s all day. While there are fans in each room, they just blow hot air. The other two nights were hot as well. Result, no sleep for three nights. Time for mini splits in the bedrooms.Check out instructions. Required to not only strip beds but complete laundry of all bedding and towels. Also take all garbage out. Replace paper towels and TP for next guests if used.There is only one key to the door so they ask you not to lose that? Time to make an extra copy There is a lock box next to the door for the key so we just kept it in there .Very see through curtains in the bedroom facing the lake. Light pours in early in the morning and sun sets facing the window heating that room in evening. Generally clean however there some items are neglected. Fans were caked with dust. People leave perishable foods in refrigerator, probably intending it to be a favor to next tenets, but no. Cleaner should toss anything left in the refrigerator. Also questionabale food left in cabinet.

Perfect Getaway on A Great Lake!!

This house is beautiful. So spacious and comfortable. Waterfront was amazing. Every evening we sat out on the patio and watched the sunsets. Hearing the waves was soothing at night and gave us all great sleep. We spent most of our time on the beach catching up and reminiscing. Would love to come back next year!

Great place to stay

I stayed here with my wife and two children (1 and 8). It was great. The house feels like it's practically in Lake Ontario. Days with high waves splash the back windows. It's a great location to go out into the lake to swim, or to take out the canoe. The house had everything we needed, and it was clean. The host was helpful when we had questions. We would love to stay here again if we get the opportunity.

Great Cottage on Lake Ontario

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The cottage was very clean with an Amazing View of Lake Ontario. Hearing the waves and feeling the cool breeze was so relaxing sitting on the nice patio. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook a nice meal. A nice grill and fire pit was also available. The owner was very accommodating, we arrived earlier than the check-in time and were granted access to the property early. This cottage shows even better in person.

Perfect Lake Ontario Retreat

Cozy cottage with a lot of space and great views of Lake Ontario. We especially enjoyed sitting on the back porch and jumping into the lake to cool off.

Vacation 2022

This was out 4th year vacationing at this property. We hope to return next summer. It is a beautiful location and the sunsets are spectacular. The cottage is very clean and comfortable.

Lovely Lake Cottage!

Decorated so cute! Plenty of towels/fans/dishes, etc! Very well stocked and generous owners! Had a great time! View is FANTASTIC! Our boys enjoyed the canoe AND the paddle boat! A fire pit would have been fabulous! Lake front patio with the 1/2 picnic tables are perfect for coffee in the morning and enjoying the sunsets!!!

Peaceful lake vacation

Any questions were answered promptly. Home and property were clean and had everything we needed. Lots of toys for my toddler to play with if he got tired of his own.

Beautiful Cottage

My husband and I wanted a relaxing vacation , this cottage was great . I sat on the front deck and read listening to the waves , we walked around area , took out the paddle boat . The cottage was very nice inside , clean , had everything we needed and owners very responsive when we had a question.

Calm

A really lovely place with perfect access to the water. It may look small on the outside but felt spacious. Be aware that phone service is spotty, only 1 out of 4 us were able to get any type of connection and there is no wifi. This is GREAT if you need a little push to disconnect but made it difficult to communicate with the owners with any questions once on site or to check in on family back home. I do want to note that the owners were excellent at responding leading up to the trip and in the moments we momentarily regained service during an outing to Sackets Harbor. Water access included a small beach area (mix of sand and stone) leading right into the water which was shallow pretty far out and very clear. I would recommend water shoes to help with the rocks and grip on smooth but slippery areas. We absolutely recommend!

A quiet peaceful getaway.

A nice place to stay. Went for walks and enjoyed the lake and the views. A short ride to Sackets Harbor, and little further to Clayton and Alexandria Bay. The cabin was clean everything we needed for our stay was provided.

Can't get closer to the water

This property is nicer than it appears in the pictures. It is right on the water. We enjoyed listening to the waves and seeing the lake from almost every window. Easy access to the water from a small beach. No steps needed. Not as rocky as many entrances to Lake Ontario can be. Very clean accommodations. We had a lot of privacy while we were there as nearby camps were not occupied.

Amazing and so much more!

We have rented several places throughout the years. This cottage surpassed our expectations. The pictures do not do this property justice! The family room area offers a cozy area for us to hang out together playing games, watching a show or reading. However, the various rooms allowed for us to have our own space whenever needed. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with anything needed and the bathroom area has plenty of room. The inclusion of washer/dryer is an added bonus. The patio area is perfect to eat, sit to watch the water, the kids and the sunrise/set. The kids loved the water and we enjoyed our time out in the paddle boat. The location of the cottage is easy to access. It is close enough to many areas of interest as well as far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you to Jen and Steve for allowing us to rent. We sure hope to return to the cottage in the near future.

The place is nicer in person than it is in the photos!

I would highly recommend staying here. The location is great and the property is very nice. I would recommend this location to anyone. The property owner is respectful of your privacy and easy to deal with. The place really is nicer in person than it is in the photos. The beach is kind of shallow until a drop off. It would be great for small children. Thanks again!
