Great location, great family space

Great beach location, plus a very walk-able location in Long Beach generally for playgrounds, coffee, groceries, etc. The main indoor family room - dining - kitchen - living space is terrific with an amazing ocean front and sunrise and sunset balcony.

This is an amazing home! Very clean and comfortable with all the benefits of a great location. Sunrise and sunset and so close to the ocean that you can hear it! The hosts were incredibly attentive and so nice. You can't ask for more!

It was perfect

This location is steps away from the beach, the view alone is worth the trip, we were greeted almost every morning with dolphins. Eileen and Sophie are very thoughtful hosts, their place is so well stocked, we used the bikes every day to ride on the boardwalk and around town. I did not want to leave, highly recommend their place.

Fabulous experience

Even better than described. Wonderful gracious hosts. Literally all you need to do is bring your bathing suits and food to eat. Incredible views with close access to the beach. You could not ask for more. A diamond in the ruff!😄

You can not get closer to the water without getting wet!

Property has a stunning view. Kitchen is well stocked, everything you need, just bring food. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and boardwalk (owner has bikes available). The top floor is unmatched in comfort and livability. Do not make a mistake and pass on this one!

Beyond Amazing

There aren't enough superlatives to describe our stay in Long Beach. Eileen and Sophie were beyond welcoming. All the information they provided was on point and helpful. Communication was prompt. Their property is extremely well appointed and the location could not have been better. They were very understanding. Even welcoming to our granddog,!

Incredible Home in an Incredible Location!

Beautiful clean home with a stunning view of the ocean. We began and ended every day out on the balcony enjoying the ocean morning and night. Our hosts provided an extremely well stocked kitchen, clean towels and linens, and even beach passes and chairs. We just brought our cloths and toiletries and had an incredible week. The home is steps from the beach and only a block away from great restaurants and a cute children’s park with a water playground. The home is large and comfortable. Plenty of room for our 2 daughters, their husbands, and our 3 small grandchildren. We all would love to come back next year. We certainly recommend this home to anyone looking for the best beach vacation. Thanks again!

Great vacation in a fabulous setting

My family recently stayed at this oceanfront townhouse for a week over July 4th and we had a wonderful time. We have stayed in the West End of Long Beach on 5 different occasions and have always stayed in a house that was in the middle of one of the blocks. For this vacation we decided to stay directly on the ocean and it was our most enjoyable visit due to the incredible location. The pictures in the listing don't do it justice- you have a front row to the ocean and incredible views. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace while looking at the ocean in the morning and then relaxed at night again on the terrace while listening to the crashing of the waves under the moonlight. The townhouse was fully equipped with all of the beach gear that we needed from chairs, umbrellas, coolers and sand toys. You are also steps to the beach entrance which makes it convenient when lugging all of the beach items and even better for quick bathroom breaks back home. The two guest bedrooms were perfect for my daughters and the master bedroom was comfortable and spacious on the top floor. The main common area is another impressive feature. The open kitchen/dining room/den provide a great area to hang out and perfect for relaxing with the sliding glass doors open to enjoy the ocean breeze. There is a fully stocked modern kitchen with all of the appliances you would need to cook at home. The property location is also convenient to the supermarket, beer distributor, dunkin donuts and all of the restaurants and bars on the main strip. They even provided bicycles for riding down to the boardwalk where they have free concerts in the evening and fireworks during the holiday week. I highly recommend this location to anyone considering a relaxing beach vacation. We look forward to returning in future years. Joe

Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations

To be absolutely honest, I am conflicted about describing exactly how fabulous this beachfront condo really is, because we fully intend to come back, and I really don’t want to have to compete with anyone else…. Ultimately, what prompts me to be completely forthcoming, is that our hosts were so helpful and welcoming, it would be a disservice to them to not inform everyone that this property is truly a gem. I am originally from the area, and Eileen and Sophie gave us a FaceTime walkthrough before we arrived, so we felt that we were well-prepared for the experience. So, when we arrived entering though the ground level and climbing two flights of stairs, in truth, nothing could have prepared us for this beautiful open living room with an expansive view of the beachfront and ocean. Simply magnificent! The porch overlooks the dune and the beach, we watched pods of dolphins, bathers, surfers, wind surfers, kite surfers, sailboats and container ships bound for New York Harbor as well as several fireworks displays. We took almost all our meals on the porch. While at one point there were 6 of us, most of the time it was just two of us. There are three bedrooms, the master being the most spacious, but there was plenty of room for a large family. Cooking was no problem, the kitchen is large, up to date and had everything. We stayed 5 weeks. The house had everything: from beach equipment, to toys, games and puzzles, exercise equipment, bicycles, and, of course, plenty of towels. Our hosts were solicitous and attentive, calling and texting to see if we were comfortable and needed anything. Hurricane Ida came through during our stay, passing well east of us, but we were able to easily coordinate preparations for the storm with our hosts. Candidly, having grown up in the area some 40+ years earlier, my memories of Long Beach in general and the west end in particular, were rather mixed. A bustling resort for the ultra-wealthy in the 1920’s and 30’s, Long Beach has seemed, for many years to fail to live up to its potential as white sand ocean beach less than an hour from Manhattan. I can say that having been away for so long, Long Beach seems to have caught its stride with the boardwalk (1/2 mile away) recently renovated and a hub for the entire community. There is building and renovation all along the beachfront. The west end has the advantage of a single commercial street running down its spine and the shops, bars and restaurants have appealing outdo

The best hosts!

Eileen and Sophie were the most welcoming and kindest hosts I have ever dealt with. They answered all of my questions promptly and even went above and beyond. They treated us like friends who were staying over. The home is extremely well stocked with everything you could need (coffee machine, spices, pantry items, etc) The living space is just HUGE and the view was absolutely remarkable. We saw dolphins and even a whale from the balcony. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. If you have young children though do bring a baby gate as there are two sets of stairs.

The perfect beachfront home!

My family of 5 absolutely adored this home! Gorgeous ocean views (my kids spotted some dolphins!), beautiful sunsets, easy beach access. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful during the whole process. The home is clean and as advertised in the photos. Eileen was kind enough to leave out some games and toys for our children, which was such a thoughtful touch. We had our own parking spot which is a big deal in Long Beach where parking can be tough in this area. This was a working trip and the home office was perfect, good wi-fi. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of cooking tools, towels, linens, etc. We had everything we needed and could not have asked for a better stay! Thank you so much to Eileen and Sophie. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful in Every Way!!! 10 STARS !!!!!

If we could give this lovely, warm townhouse more than 5 stars we would. The home is VERY CLEAN, beautifully decorated, has an amazing view of the ocean, and sits right on the beach. The home has EVERYTHING you need and more. As a family, we found the home's layout to provide the perfect family space - modern kitchen, dining area and living area - all in one very spacious "great-room" on the upper (third) floor. The first floor is a garage and entryway - the second floor has 2 nice bedrooms, and a full bath. The third floor has the large living space/great-room, a full bath, a very large master bedroom with a large en-suite bath...and a nice balcony with table and chairs ( we liked it so much that we bundled up and ate on the balcony in February). With the two bedrooms and full bath on the second floor on the second floor - this home layout would also be perfect for several couples or a family of adults. It is obvious that the owners love and care for this home. My family and I definitely give the home's owners 10 stars! Eileen and Sofia are very responsive, professional, considerate and obviously want their guests to enjoy their stay! Really, they are the most accessible and nicest hosts we have encountered. We hope to enjoy this special beach home again! THANK YOU Eileen and Sofie for you kindness and hospitality!
