Weekend away

Perfect little spot for a quick weekend away. Such a fun house, and a great location! Minutes to the beach and you can hear the waves crashing from the lovely deck out the back.

Beautiful and quirky with a great garden. Very close to the stunning beach. It’s in a quiet and private location. We would love to stay there again!

Everything was fabulous! The location, the house, the yard, we all had a great time, including the dogs! Really thoughtful touches like holiday collar tags we great! The mid century vibe was just lovely! We will definitely be back!!!

"Life's a Beach"

A fabulous retro-style cottage with all the comforts of home, and colourful fun deco. Perfect location. Walking distance to the beach, and close to the boat ramp. Short drive to the shops, Bowling Club and skate park. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing family holiday that we didn't want to end, and would highly recommend this property for a relaxing getaway!

Kitchen really does have all mod cons. Beds are comfy. Very quiet neighbourhood. The undercover verandahs are well set up for meals and snoozy reads when not out and about. Backyard is private and protected from high winds. Wonderful old tree. Beaut beachy gardens - and did I mention the decor?

Perfect weekender

We have had an absolutely amazing time here. The family don’t want to leave - wish we could stay forever. It is about 60 seconds to the beach, the outdoor shower is perfect in return for all including the furry family member. The house is so welcoming and toasty warm. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

A Wet weekend

2 days in extremely wet weather we’re just fine. Plenty of room and space to entertain two young kids with 4 adults. Seem to have thought of everything!

Excellent location to the beach and a short drive to all shops etc.

We had a fantastic stay here and wished we could stayed longer. Easy access to the beach and our little dog had the best time in the huge backyard also. It was clean and we loved the 50’s retro feel. Would definitely recommend this property.

Winderful long weekend

What a wonderful find for the long weekend. A retro treat of a property that thought about many aspects to help make our stay more comfortable. The house and surrounds were very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and some really thoughtful pantry additions which helped make meal prep easy. Great access to beach. Loved the atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Great winter getaway

A wonderfully charming retro house. Felt like we were ‘coming home’. Large home but kept cosy with the wood burning fire. Wonderful outdoor secure space for the dogs. Moments to the beach, it was a truly relaxing short winter escape. Can’t wait to visit when it is warmer to take advantage of all the outdoor facilities at the property.

Great retro, house near the beach

We had a great stay at the house. It's retro, but not old, clean and has a great backyard for dogs. It's really close to the beach too which is very convenient. Overall, a great place!

Perfect, comfortable and pet friendly

We really enjoyed our stay - as did the pups. The bed and linen are super comfortable. The kitchen is easy to cook in, with the bbq for salad and steak nights. Proximity to the beach is spot on. Fences are secure, and the dogs loved watching the street through the gate. We’ve stayed before and will stay again.

Perfect Getaway

Life's a Beach was fabulous. It's an easy drive from Sydney Our hosts have thought of everything including a Christmas tree and all the comforts of home for guests fur babies. We loved the retro theme, the beds were very comfortable and the house was clean & tidy. I will definitely stay there again.
