Great short break

My husband and children went down for a few days while our floors were polished. It was perfect for their short stay. Good value for money.

Average

Comfortable, clean and close to great cafes and beautiful beaches. Not so impressed by the noise the owner made around the property while we were trying to relax. Also charged a hefty cleaning fee, while we had to bring our own linen and do the majority of the cleaning ourselves!

HI James, Thank you for your feedback. We take all comments into consideration. You however omitted to mention that you were upgraded to a 3 bedroomed 2 bathroom air-conditioned & heated house with full facilities at no extra cost from a $100 per night basic apartment. There was also no mention that we actually made the effort to warm the house prior to your late evening arrival. In our terms & conditions we ask that if you have any complaint or dissatisfaction to let us know immediately & we will do our best to solve the matter. If there was anything not to your satisfaction then a quick word ‘at the time’ would have solved any annoyance immediately. We are not able to solve anything several days after you vacate your accommodation. Linen & cleaning policies are clearly advertised on the booking websites giving you the option to accept or not.

Blueys bliss

On a weekend that promised little in the way of good weather we chose this little oasis. Across the road from great coffee, fabulous pizza and five minutes walk to the beach. The apartment was far nicer than the pics represent. Every single thing that you need was there! Take your linen, towels and your loo paper and you are set. Svern was a prompt and effective communicator. I have nothing but praise for this place and hope to return very soon.

We loved our stay at Blue Vogue. Everything you could need was available. It was roomy and bright. The shops and cafe were on the doorstop. The big front deck was a bonus. Thanks Sven & Helen.

Excellent upgrade to Vogue

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. House was clean and very comfortable, walking distance, to beaches and restaurants/cafes. Svend was very hospitable and had some excellent 'must sees' for us to do (in particular the green cathedral).

Our group rented the downstairs Blueys Apartment & upstairs Cerulean Blue. It was clean & comfortable. The back yard (access from upstairs) is child friendly and safe.

My husband and I spent a few days up here during the month of March, the apartment was perfect for just the two of us, spacious, clean and very well equipped. Disappointed

When we first arrived, we opened up the apartment and we were overwhelmed by the strong musky smell so we opened all the windows to air it out. After a couple of hours, we returned to the apartment and the smell was still extremely strong, to the point that we couldn't breathe comfortably. I stayed only 1 night out of the 3 that I had booked as I just couldn't cope with the smell. I think also the smell was made worse because of the heavy rain and Windows had to be closed. Other than the smell, the apartment looked clean.

We are sorry for your experience, unfortunately you did not contact us during your stay as we would have been more than willing to have the issue investigated immediately & resolved We have examined the apartment through out & can’t find anything that could have caused the issue. We have contacted the guests directly before & after your stay to ascertain if this is an ongoing issue & neither of them had any similar experience. We are very meticulous with our properties, as reflected in all our reviews & we appreciate you letting us know you had an issue. Please, in the future, if you have any issues, contact the owner immediately, as it is difficult to resolve issues with a guest several days after returning home.

Great value for money!

A lovely little apartment that is really good value for money. We booked it together with the house it is under (Cerulean Blue) to provide additional beds for our group. However it would work really well if you just want an inexpensive getawy at the beach.

The best we have stayed in yet!

We were a large group of ladies & rented both the house & apartment. It was so modern,clean & well equipped, we can highly recommend both the house & apartment. The decks were great what ever the weather & the back garden & bush outlook completed the experience. So close to the cafes & beaches, we will be back. Loved yoga too that the owners recommended to us.
