The 'Edge of Innes' allows a maximum of '4' people and is a perfect retreat for a couple or small family.

Linen is NOT supplied.

The house is best suited to a maximum of x4 adults (x2 Couples) or a family of x2 adults with x2 kids.

MINIMUM NIGHTLY STAY
Standard - 3 Night Minimum
Long Weekend - 3 Night Minimum
Easter - 4 Night Minimum
School Holidays 4-7 Night Minimum

Marion Bay is an easy 3 hours drive from Adelaide & is the gateway to Innes National Park.

There is a local tavern in the area providing fantastic views whilst serving great food & beverages.

There is a well serviced boat ramp and two jetties near by providing great fishing at your door step.

(Fishing Charters can be booked through the General Store).

Surcharge applies for holiday periods.
- Long week ends have a minimum x3 night stay.
- Easter has a minimum x4 night stay.
- School Holiday periods have a minimum x3-4 night stay.

PROPERTY

This two bedroom house has a open plan living design with a fully equipped modern kitchen.
There is a large dining table with six chairs.
A new reverse cycle air conditioner has been installed to keep room temperature just how you like it.
LCD TV with satellite reception / DVD player.
There is an outdoor setting located on the back deck to sit back and enjoy the relaxing enviroment.
Main bedroom has a queen size bed, the spare room has a bunk bed with a double below & single on top.
Shower, bath, toilet & laundry basin. Coin operated washing machine located at local caravan park.
Quilts & Pillows supplied, we do ask tenants to bring there own linen.
There is a wood combustion heater for the winter months to warm the whole house but you will need to pick up a bag of logs.

Sorry, but this property does NOT allow pets due to the proximity of the National Park and our property does not having fencing.

Check in time is from 2pm
Check out time is by 10am

The kitchen was as if you were at home. Well-equipped. Our stay at Innes was relaxed, quiet, and reflective.A real treat to observe the many species of birds. Wonderful sunsets from the back deck, or to view from the main bedroom.

We had a wonderful family break, with a clean, tidy and perfectly suited holiday home for four. Perfect location as quoted 'on.the doorstep of the Innes National Park'. I really enjoyed my stay. It was peaceful, close to nature and beach, and most importantly friendly and respectful neighbours.It felt like living in your own home.I would love to go back again when its possible with the busy city life

Our family (with 2 teen girls) enjoyed a week in April at the property. The common space with kitchen / dining & lounge was great for us, especially opening up to the decking area too (for the moments of warm autumnal sunshine!). It's a great spot at the end of the cul de sac and a short walk into the National Park - you really feel like you don't have neighbours. The table tennis was a bonus too. The days were warm and the house really warmed up during the afternoon, so we didn't need to use heating until the chilly mornings, when the RC aircon was handy to run for 1/2 hr or so to take the edge off. The shower was maybe a little too nice... had to make sure we kept them short (teens especially!). We did find the top foam mattresses of the bunk bed to be way too soft for our 13 yr old, but we mentioned this to a very receptive Brian, so hopefully that will be replaced. We'd like to return to the house again in the future, so here's hoping!

A fantastic location and great accommodation. Everything you would require for a stay was supplied. The outside settings were most enjoyable. The friendly emus were polite visitors.

We arrived and were pleasantly surprised by our little house for the next few days. The photos don't do it justice. Everything was clean and comfortable and the views and wildlife were icing on the cake. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

Lovely place in a beautiful natural setting

We loved this cute, simple place. In a quiet location right next to the National Park, it had everything we needed. The town has one pub and one shop and you can get most things there. We really enjoyed our stay.

I have spent a lot of my life growing up in Adelaide and as a teenager i was lucky enough to come across the beautiful area of the bottom of the York Peninsula & explore the coast as I developed a love for the ocean. Surfing, fishing & bush walking is something I still will travel the world to explore what nature has to offer. Marion Bay has become a great holiday getaway for me & my family over the years & we look forward to our future visits and discoveries.

Back in the early 90's I heard a good friend was selling his block & when I discovered it was the last block before the National Park I just had to ask if he was interested in selling and shortly after some discussions we were lucky enough to purchase this unique property and have enjoyed many holidays on this special spot in South Australia.

Year after year because of the prime location of "Edge Of Innes", wildlife ventures out of the National park and into our back yard, kangaroos & baby emus are fun to watch from the deck.
