Set on 20 picturesque acres 'Sailors Falls Estate' offers privacy, seclusion and luxury.

This Tuscan style property is situated in an idyllic environment for relaxation, celebration or just to chill out only a few minutes drive from the Daylesford town centre.

Three accommodation options are housed within one large Villa building which can be utilised privately as separate apartments, with a spacious foyer, or can be fully booked to accommodate a group, wedding party or family of up to 10 guests in total.

This accommodation option includes full use of:

Apartment A: Self contained apartment containing 2 bedrooms, wood fire, large bathroom with spa, full kitchen, lounge and dining areas (sleeps up to 4).

Apartment B: Self contained apartment containing 2 bedrooms, wood fire, large bathroom with spa, full kitchen, lounge and dining areas (sleeps up to 4).

Studio apartment: Loft containing a bedroom, bathroom, breakfast bar and living/lounge area.

The Wine

Sailors Falls Estate vineyard is set on a rural property providing a tranquil setting to have a taste of their boutique hand cultured, cool climate wines such as pinot gris, pinot noir, gamay, rose, chardonnay and gewurtraminer.

The Pinot grape, being a lover of cool climates, relishes the areas cold, crisp winters and short dry summers.

Sailors Falls Estate wines can also be enjoyed in many local restaurants and by some local wine stores.

Take a taste and make a purchase at the cellar door : 11am to 5pm weekends and public holidays

Surroundings

Surrounded on two sides by the Wombat Forest and set on undulating land within a 20 acre property, the vineyard at Sailors Falls Estate was established in 1999. Conveniently located in Telegraph Road about 300 metres from the Ballan-Daylesford Road, the property is within walking distance of the acclaimed restaurant, Sault ,which has the Pinot Gris featured on their current wine list and Sailors Falls (waterfall and mineral spring).

The surrounding areas provide a plethora of activities for those who are away to play or away to relax. Spas, food and wellness venues at your call.

Highly recommended! Fabulous versatile accommodation.

We housed our production crews here over festival time. They raved about it and enjoyed being so well looked after. The versatility of that the accommodation offered was perfect for out requirements. Margaret was an excellent host going out of her way to make sure all was taken care of. Thanks Sailors Falls Estate.

Great location, everything we needed

Just out of town with such a lovely feel. We used the whole house for 5 couples which worked really well . Perfect distance from Melbourne.

Wonderful getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sailors Falls estate. Margaret and Rob were incredibly hospitable and welcoming. Their accomodation was clean, stylish and beautifully furnished. The pizza oven was a wonderful extra! Would certainly recommend and stay again in the future.

graet place to stay

Very comfortable, close to Daylesford (a vehicle is needed) while still being outside of the hustle and bustle of the town. Three of us stayed in a lovely town house set up with three bedrooms which was mirrored by another unit within the same building which could be booked out for a bigger group. Lovely People, very clean modern property.

Lovely, family friendly property

We have just returned after spending 3 nights at Sailors Falls Estate over the Easter weekend and we were very impressed. The villas are lovely and cosy. The grounds wonderful, we loved going for walks and had a great time getting to know the resident horses. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Margaret and Rob, thank you for making us so welcome. We will be back.

Pleasureable experience all-round!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and modern. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves, although I'm sure it still would have been fantastic if we didn't. We loved having a vineyard from one direction and beautiful bushland to the other direction. And a fantastic bbq area. Thanks very much!

Beautiful property in stunning setting!

My girlfriends and i were welcomed with a smile and a beautiful property! The property is well looked after and the information provided about where to eat and what to see in Daylesford was very handy. Loved waking up to the gorgeous view of the vineyard with a bush setting.

Owners were great. However the villas are not separate, they are part of the same building, so we could hear our neighbors a bit too clearly. Would have liked to have opened some windows for some fresh air but there were no fly screens.

This review does not make sense. The villas ARE SEPARATE and are separated by a 5 metre corridor. The website clearly states this delineation. In ten[10] years of operation we have never had such an unfair review[see reviews below] Rated 4 for cleanliness, 3 for comfort, 5 for location and 3 for quality we wonder why we get 2 overall.!!! We are not sure who posted the review as we have no record of a person called May staying here!!! We will work on the window issues, but have never had this complaint before. Large ceiling fans are provided to circulate air in all units.

Looking out the window at horses, gum trees and beautiful gardens. A great place to stay, with a wel appointed kitchen and very clean through-out.

I stayed at this property with a group of girls for a hens weekend. We loved this property, its location was ideal being just out of town and located within the privacy of a winery estate. The separate villas were perfect for all of us, allowing room to move but still having the benefit of being in the one house itself. The hosts were more than accommodating and helpful on the local attractions. The property was immaculately presented with all the mod cons you could need. We all had a great time and hope to be back again in the future. A huge thank you for making our weekend a success!!!
