Comfortable, great wrap around porch

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was very close to the beach. We brought two dogs and loved having the enclosed area for them to run around in. The beds were very comfortable. The main surfaces were clean, however the house could use a good deep clean besides the main surfaces. The towels and linens were clean. We had to go get dish soap and hand soap, we brought our own shampoo/body wash etc because there was none. They provided dishwasher and washing machine cleaning pods, which was nice. The temperature of the house was good.

Perfect set up for our travel group

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVE this home. The downstairs gated area is perfect for protecting our stuff while at the beach. We like that we can leave our extra coolers, equipment, etc secured at the home. The ac in this home keeps the home nice and cool and perfect to cool off in after a hot day at the beach. The 4 private bedrooms were perfect for our adult children to have their own private spaces. The kitchen is well stocked and we had access to everything we needed while there.

Jeep Weekend

Our stay in the house was great! All of have stayed for the big event many times in previous years, but the crowd was very different this time and not in a good way. Would definitely look at staying at this house again in future, but definitely won't be back for this event. The house was amazingly beautiful 😍

Good from far, far from good

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: the location and access to the beach is great. Furniture is comfortable. Sleeps 16 comfortably. Kids enjoyed the skywalk.Cons: The pictures of the property look great but when you stay there you see many flaws. The internet is atrocious and the TV is works off of the internet so viewing a movie is difficult at times. The screened in porch is is in terrible disrepair. Two bathrooms for a house that sleeps 14 is insufficient as well. Master bedroom is arguably the smallest room and absolutely the hottest room in the house. Most importantly, the air conditioning is not strong enough for summer weather and needs to be upgraded.

Sand castle has issues

We had a decent stay at this house. It was a lovely space but it was unfortunate for our group that the house was poorly maintained and we were in mid summer. Every room had a fan with each fan not working. Some moved a little air and some barely moved air, all set on high. We also had to call out an air conditioning company 2x because our units weren't working properly. The issues were not fixed before we left and Cobb realty hasn't reached out to make this issue right. We had a 6 week old newborn, an aunt who had a major surgery a few weeks ago and was recovering and an uncle there with Parkinson's. The house was very nice but we would not re rent this place due to these issues. It was 100+ out with the air conditioning not working properly and not cooling below 78 most times.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful and has plenty of space for guest. However, the kitchen lacked good basics, as well as a good set of glasses, utensils and stemware. There was no blender in the kitchen so it made things hard. The outside fans did not work. The bedroom downstairs had a sagging mattress and needs to be replaced. The welcome mat was torn which was proven to be a tripping hazard. The upstairs tv did not work, and the fan in one of the upstairs rooms made lots of noise when turned on. All the closets were locked so there was no place to hang any items. The house also did not have a dust pan nor a vacuum for all the sand. I would also suggest getting a tv in the bunk room, as well as replacing the fan and mattress. I would also suggest stocking the kitchen with more utensils, coffee cups, plastic wine glasses and plastic drinking cups. With a house of this size that sleeps that many people two fridges would have been nice. This house needs LOTS of work.

Good But Not Great

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sandcastle was nice, the pics really matched the actual layout of the house. The lawn wasn't mowed all week so the grass was high, the outdoor shower area was overgrown, mosquito infested and dirty. The grill was rusted out, extremely nasty, and would not ignite. The house was very dusty and needed a deep cleaning. The beds were comfy, couch was nice, and table was good. The outdoor furniture was nice. There was a serious lack of items in the kitchen, very little utensils, very few pots to use. The door handles were all weird and kept falling off to enter the porch and the house. Light switches are everywhere and weren't labeled, hard to figure out. Bathrooms were very nice. Overall it was comfy, the kitchen was disappointing, the outdoor area downstairs was very disappointing, the upstairs porch was nice, and the bathrooms were great. Our family gave it a 3.75 out of 5 stars overall.

Sandcastle stay

The house was beautiful and large enough for 5 adults and 4 children...all under the age of 3!The house was not far from the beach and you could walk there. This is the second house we have rented from Cobb and we are very pleased!
