Valley Views at Hendohaven

Modern 4 bedroom home with panoramic views of the Mudgee country side and surrounding vineyards. The home is a magnificent open plan homestead with reverse cycle ducted air conditioning and a slow combustion heater for the crisp Mudgee nights. It is fully self contained, comprising a modern kitchen, laundry, bathroom, two living areas with TV/DVD and ensuite off the main bedroom. There are porcelain tiles throughout the living areas while the bedrooms are carpeted. The home is set on several acres and is in a quiet and peaceful location approximately 15 minutes from Mudgee. You can look out on to the speculator views through the day and sit around the outdoor fire pit, gazing at the stars , when the conditions allow for the use of an outdoor open fire.
Note. Property access road is not suitable for sports cars or cars low to the ground.

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENT IS 2 NIGHTS

Bedroom1- queen size bed, walk in wardrobe, ensuite and double sofa bed.

Bedroom 2- queen size bed, built in wardrobes

Bedroom 3- queen size bed, built in wardrobes

Bedroom 4- 2 single beds in the form of a trundle bed, free standing wardrobe

While the house was beautiful and the view. The warning for the terrible road was not there. There should be warning about the road (consisting of just rock at times) is not good. The contact with the host was fantastic but I would suggest warning on the type of cars and fix the road.

Didnā€™t realise the road to the house was only accessible by dirt roads and lucky it hasnā€™t been raining so the road was dry but dusty. Otherwise it has a lovely view and serenity. I would suggest to drive an suv because of the dirt roads.

Relaxing. Evening drinks on the verandah - what a view.

Excellent choice for three couples. Plenty of nooks to get away and have a quiet time. Walks to test your stamina. Everything you need in the house for your stay. Tastefully furnished with good beds. We would recommend Valley View.

The View!

Wow! The property is located on top of a hill and you can see Mudgee for days, so picturesque. The house was very clean and exactly as described. This is our second time here and will be back.

Valley View stay

Beautiful property with breathtaking views. Will definitely be returning with family and friends. Our check-in and check-out process was very well communicated. We were travelling in two different cars. A sedan and a SUV. The short internal drive up to the property was a bit was a struggle in the sedan due to the condition of the road.

Amazing place. Great Host . Howard was very helpful trying to help us calling by calling his friends in Mudgee when we were stuck in the mud. One little advice , you need a 4 wheel drive getting there .

Clean, beautiful property. However DO NOT arrive in dark. Long dirt road with ditches. Also very minimal firewood left for inside fire and no firewood left for outside. Need to bring your own which is inconvient and for the price of the property should be provided.

Spent a weekend with family out here. The house is lovely and spacious, the views across the valley are wonderful. The fire pit was good fun for the kids to toast marshmallows.

The property and views over the valley was stunning. The access into the property was restricted due to heavy rain however the host communicated this to us prior to arrival. 4WD's are a must after heavy rain.

Fabulous Accomodation

The view was so beautiful that we cancelled our dinner plans and stayed in! It was lovely and clean, easy check in and lovely and private. We would definitely stay again. (Be prepared for a dirt road to the house - we were in a 4WD so we were fine!)

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND

Don't think twice about booking this place - it is perfect! So spacious and tidy with all the facilities you need, but most importantly the most amazing view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Only 15 minutes out of town but you feel like you're in your own little world. Watching the sunset by the firepit was something I'll never forget. After reading the reviews about the roads being a bit iffy for smaller cars I reached out to Howard to check if our little car would be ok and he promptly responded to let us know the roads were looking good. Our drive up was totally fine - no issues whatsoever and so scenic. We were lucky to have a designated driver to go out to the wineries but honestly we were hesitant to even leave, the place is so beautiful. Couldn't recommend more and will hopefully be back!

Overall a great time

House was awesome, nice and spacious, plenty of room to enjoy. The fire pit outside is the best attraction. Beds were super comfortable, House was well stocked. Only setback is the 2.5km dirt road which has a fair few rocks on it. But everyone agreed the house was well worth the drive!

Spectacular Views

I couldnā€™t recommend this property highly enough. Our group of four adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valley Views. The house had everything we needed to self-cater. The highlight was watching the sunset over the valley. The only two potential drawbacks are thereā€™s no WiFi and the location. The lack of WiFi wasnā€™t a problem as everyoneā€™s phones had plenty of coverage. As for the location, it is located at the top of a 3km dirt road, about 15 min out of town. The road wasnā€™t a problem for our 4WD but if you had vehicle with a low clearance, you might bottom out a few times. We didnā€™t mind being out of town, as the view, the cows and the kangaroos more than make up for it. Overall, we had a lovely time and canā€™t wait to return.
