Bearfoot Lodge at Rumbling Bald

Recently renovated, this four bedroom, four bath home sleeps 12. There is a lovely stone gas fireplace in the Great Room and an recently added fire pit in the back yard. Perfect for enjoying those cool mountain nights. The main floor has three bedrooms including a Master with an en-suite full bathroom and two guest rooms, each with a King size bed, that share a second full bathroom.  The downstairs has one room with two double beds and a flat screen TV, a second bedroom with two sets of twin bunk beds, and two full bathrooms. It also features a great room with a billiards table and a flat screen TV/DVD. There is plenty of seating on the large wrap-around deck which is great for outdoor barbecues or watching the kids play in the spacious yard below.

Bearfoot Lodge is located on one acre within the gates of Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure. This home is perfectly set-up for your family vacation in the mountains: large open floor plan, kitchen, dining, and great room.  Dining for 10 on a long harvest table and four extra bar stools at kitchen counter is wonderful for family meals. The great room, with a flat screen TV/DVD, opens up to a large wood deck, perfect for grilling in the evenings and coffee in the mornings. The deck space has two tables for dining and a gas grill for the weekend hamburgers.  WiFi (for those who need to do a little work while on vacation), landline phone, iron, and full size washer and dryer in the laundry room in the basement is also available.

The oversized Master bedroom is located on the main level with a King size bed and a flat screen TV/DVD. This room opens to a private screened porch, perfect for relaxing. The Master bath has a garden tub and shower. There are two guest bedrooms also located on the main level, each with a king size bed, that share a bath.  Walk downstairs to the lower level and find a bunk room for the kids, as well as a second bedroom with two double beds and a flat screen TV, a billiard table, and great room with a flat screen TV/DVD.   There are also two full bathrooms downstairs. The lower level walks out to the very level back yard and patio area. Bring your corn hole games, horse shoes, or your volleyball net.  This backyard is perfect for summertime fun.  You and your family will really enjoy your stay at 'Bearfoot Lodge' and Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure.
CANCELLATIONS/TRANSFERS. Requests must be in writing and received by a Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure rental agent. In the event Tenant must cancel this reservation more than 45 day prior to arrival, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of $50.00. Cancellations that occur within 45 to 15 days prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the total reservation charges. Cancellations which occur within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the amount of the reservation. NO refunds will be given for early departures or unused portions of packages.

HOUSEKEEPING SUPPLIES: There is a one-two day starter supply of items such as coffee packets, toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent (where appropriate), shampoo, and soap that has been supplied for your vacation rental. All towels, sheets, and linens are provided for the allowed occupancy number of each unit.  There is no housekeeping service provided during your stay. If you run out of any starter supplies, you many purchase these at Apple Valley Market or Ingles Grocery.
