Secluded Red River Gorge Pet-Friendly Cabin on 6 acres

Serenity Falls Cabin is located on 6 acres in the middle of a canyon with breathtaking views. The cabin is conveniently located on Hwy 11, half a mile from Torrent Falls, 4 miles from Natural Bridge State Park and a half of a mile from Red River Rock House restaurant, but is very secluded. Wifi, Netflix, Hulu and upgraded cable subscriptions included.

The cabin sits in the middle of a horseshoe shaped canyon. There are unique areas around the property to explore including multiple creeks, beautiful old trees and rock formations that can only be found in the Red River Gorge. There is a seasonal waterfall that you can see from the porch. The waterfall runs in the Winter, Fall and Spring or after several days of hard raining. It is a 3 minute walk up to the cabin from the parking area, but it is well worth the seclusion and beauty of this cabin. There is a fire pit where you can cook over the fire, grill out on the charcoal grill, or cook in the newly remodeled kitchen. The cabin offers indoor or outdoor seating for meals and a large Charcoal grill for cooking. There are two Adirondack chairs situated under the canyon, which makes a relaxing spot for coffee in the morning, especially when it is raining. You can look out to the beautiful horse shoe canyon from the hot tub. This is truly a special, secluded cabin!

The cabin has 3 beds. One private master bedroom with a California King bed with a large hand made barn door. There is a loft containing two Queen beds divided by a wall. There is a nice sized couch for sleeping and extra comforters, blankets and pillows. The bathroom walls are made of 100 year old barn wood.

Comfortable beds, hardwood floors throughout the cabin, and a very efficient Woodstock wood stove. Firewood provided. Located in the woodshed in the parking area.

You are welcome to bring your dog/dogs they will enjoy the vacation as much as you with all of the creeks and woods to play in!

Check in is at 2pm. Check out is at 10am.

The views at the cabin were amazing! Check-in was easy and the cabin was clean when we arrived. The only minus was the trail/stairs to the cabin. We knew there were several stairs but didn’t know it was more of a trail and my boyfriend had broken his foot two weeks prior. Just made getting our things to the cabin more difficult, but that’s minor compared to the overall stay.

This place is amazing and hard to really describe in pictures or descriptions, you just need to go and see it for yourself! Very clean, very well-stocked, well taken care of. We surely hope to return soon for a longer stay!

Our stay was amazing. This cabin is the most secluded that my wife and I have ever stayed in. They tell you to pack light and you should. The hike to get to the cabin itself from the parking area can be a lot with luggage but it is more than worth it once you get there and I felt they did a good job in the description to prepare people for that. The rock walls surrounding the cabin are beautiful and offer a lot of safety and seclusion. We went when there were no leaves on the trees and you still could not see the cabin from the parking area or road. The sound of the waterfall makes it very tranquil. The hot tub is in great shape and works great. The house is clean and fully furnished. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at the cabin which we did. The bathroom was very nice especially for being in the middle of the woods. The towels and linens are really clean and soft. The bed and pillows are suprisingly very comfortable. We are normally very easy to please as long as the cabin is clean and safe and this cabin way exceeded our expectation. Felicia was very helpful leading up to our stay and during our stay. Each photo below is from the property. Overall our stay was wonderful and if your looking for complete seclusion from neighbors or traffic then this is your cabin.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Well stocked. Firewood was a plus. Bed was comfortable. Stairs up to the cabin get you ready for the mountain hikes! My husband and I and our two dogs had a great time. Felicia was very good with communications. Would stay here again. Very close to local dining options. Miguel’s pizza , thatcher barbecue and Daniel Boone coffee shop is a must.

Amazing!

We recently stayed 2 nights and this place is truly a one of a kind, it would be impossible for anyone to replicate this cabin and the natural environment it sits in. This is the one and only place we stay when going to visit Red River Gorge. 5 stars isn't enough for this place, I would not change one thing about the cabin or the location!You can book this cabin with extremely high confidence that you're getting everything you thought it would be and more; picture do not do this gem justice.The owners are great and ensure you have everything you need before arriving and if anything comes up, they are quick to answer any questions you might have.We will we be back!

This was an amazing place to stay. The scenery that surrounds you is breath taking. The cabin was cozy and very clean. Kids had a fun time exploring the grounds and the waterfall was flowing. Another fantastic visit to Serenity Falls

This is hands down the most unique and awesome cabin in the gorge. The hosts are great, non-intrusive but attentive, and the price is fair. But the real star is the cabin's location. If you are looking for seclusion, this is the cabin for you. Only sign of human life is the sound of a distant automobile traveling on the highway that abuts the holler...otherwise, this is the ultimate peak of seclusion, even with its own hiking trails on property. Even with all of the outdoor activities around the gorge, it is still a challenge to leave the cabin each day. The peaceful atmosphere begs for lazy days lounging around. This is a true oasis in Kentucky.

Great hidden house!

We absolutely loved staying here. The first sight of getting to the house was amazing. We didn't mind the stairs, and the surroundings were great. Our kids loved investigating around the house and getting to the waterfall. The house was very clean. The information provided to us was in great detail, and left zero questions. Food nearby was wonderful. Definitely on our list to return to this house!

Serenity Falls IS the destination!

When we booked this cabin, we knew that we wanted to take full advantage of what the property offered. It completely met and overexceeded our expectations! With spring rains, the private waterfall was absolutely beautiful and you could hear the water flowing from everywhere. Even though the trees and forest greens have not yet bloomed, the green of the wild rhodedendrum makes the gorge feel like a jungle. Everything was clean and comfy and it was a wonderful retreat. Felicia was a wonderful host and very responsive. Climb the stairs, it's worth it! Just pack light.

We both live in Lexington, Kentucky. For a number of years, we had wanted to purchase a property in the Red River Gorge. When we found this place, we knew it was the one! We enjoy hiking and traveling. We have a dog, Sadie, who loves hiking with us in the Gorge.

This cabin has been our dream. We are so very lucky to be able to share this beautiful property! As soon as you cross the bridge over the creek and walk up to the house, you will understand why we chose this property. It is beautiful and a true representation of the uniqueness of the Red River Gorge.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The land surrounding the property is absolutely gorgeous. Sitting on the porch and looking up at the rock wall and the trees is very relaxing. During the Fall, winter and Spring you will likely catch the waterfall running in the back of the property.
