Villa @ Spring Beach

Villa @ Spring is located a short 100 meters from Spring Beach. It has spectacular uninterrupted views over Spring Beach and Maria Island. Villa @ Spring has 2 bedrooms and is fully equipped. It is an hours drive from Hobart . It is set on a large block amongst landscaped gardens, and natural bush. It is extremely peaceful and tranquil.
It is a short drive to Orford and is a wonderful place to settle in or use as a base to explore all the beautiful East Coast.

Villa@ Spring is fully self contained and very well equipped for short or extended stays. It is light and airy with all day sun. It is fully equipped for children with a high chair, port a cot, toys books DVDs and games are all provided.

It has two bedrooms and sleeps 6. The main bedroom has a queen bed and beautiful views of the water. The second bedroom has two sets of single bunk beds. A portacot is available at no extra charge.

A cosy wood heater ensure warm nights over winter. It also has a flat screen TV, WIFI Netflix, Stan etc and a DVD, player. There is a full size tennis court available for guest use.


Location

Spring Beach is located on the East coast of Tasmania. It is the one of the first beaches heading up the east coast with the turquoise water and white sands so often seen in images of Wineglass Bay. It is an easy 1 hour drive from the Hobart CBD or 45 minutes from Hobart airport, and 5 minutes from the Orford Cafes and shops.

Classic beach house

Spring beach is a magic and convenient holiday spot. This is a truely loved holiday house in a great spot. Close to beach and facilities. Had a great trip to Maria island from here.

Great location

We enjoyed staying in Villa @ Spring Beach. It was a quiet location with lovely glimpses of the beach and ocean through the trees. It was good to hear the sounds of the sea at night. A comfortable home with one of the best equipped kitchens we've seen in our travels. Prompt and helpful communication with Sarah.

Relaxing Spring Beach

Very comfortable accommodation with a beautiful view and close proximity to the beach. Lovely hearing the waves at night. Wish it was bit closer to NSW

Beautiful quiet location

We really enjoyed our short stay. A short jaunt across the road to beach, and everything else a short drive away in Orford. A well-appointed shack with comfy master bed and couch. Slight musty smell but got used to it quickly.

Fabulous location on a beautiful beach and amongst stunning bushland. The hose doesn't look much from outside but the inside is smartly presented and has all that is needed for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Great family accommodation

Lovely place to spend Christmas and make memories. Everything you need.Quiet area , loved the sound of the waves. Beach was amazing and minutes away. We walked there a few times a day. Comfy beds and clean villa, quick response from host.Thankyou Sarah we will be back

A cosy winter getaway

We arrived in the middle of a winter rainstorm and found it hard to get into the key lock-box, but once we were in it was fantastic. This little house is well appointed, cosy in winter with tons of wood for the log fire (although that’s not the only heating). The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom spacious and contemporary. We’ll visit again.

Tired, and needs a little love

This unit is in a lovely quiet position. It was great to hear the ocean overnight instead of traffic, though the views as shown on the website, are hindered by overgrown bushes. Furniture did not suit our old backs, but possibly a good place for young families not prioritising comfort. Stove and airvent above, were grubby. Door and window locks are breaking, light above bunk bed was hanging off the wall. Exterior of unit is not cleaned so it was hard to see through windows. Bins were so full we couldn't add our own garbage. Photos of unit on website do not show the bunk beds in bedroom 2, that are great for kids but really low and would be difficult for adults to use. Bathroom/laundry was lovely and the best part of the unit, though Tastic light was broken and grubby with cobwebs. With regular maintenance and replacement of carpets and some furniture, this could be a nice comfortable unit.

Fabulous Family Getaway

Everything was perfect for a family. A fire & firelighters/matches, plenty of sticks outside & firewood. Electric heaters if needed. Bunks safe for our kids (2, 2, 4, 6). SO MANY extras for families, heaps of kids’ toys, games, DVDs & tennis racquets! (no balls but we found an old one in the yard) - even a tree swing! Beach - short walk through a grassy block & across the road, wonderful fishing – salmon, tailor, mullet, swell shark & skate (returned all except salmon for brekky!). In the cupboard in each room there were some drawers. Beds were comfy/warm. Toilet separate from bathroom, laundry is in the bathroom (washing machine, dryer & laundry sink) - we used the washing machine (15min cycle) & the dryer – all fine. Plenty of kitchen supplies - pantry basics like some sauces, flour, cocoa, spices, cling wrap, foil etc & bits you’d find in your own kitchen like spare matches, candles, bin bags etc. The IGA is only a 5min drive. We used the stove/oven – all fine. There is a Nespresso pod machine & a couple of pods for the stay. The IGA also sells some if you get addicted. Apple TV so we logged into our own streaming accounts. There is something magical about the vacuum, making daily whizzing under 4 kids actually enjoyable! 1 hour to Bicheno (glass bottom boat & lobster shack) & 1 hour to Hobart (took kids to Bounce & aquatic centre). Sarah was very accommodating with requests & troubleshooting via text. We can’t wait to return!

Great family stay in a beautiful location!

Really enjoyed our family stay. Spring Beach turned on the weather! We fished and swam and went bike riding with a great comfortable villa to come home to!

Perfect location

Perfect location for our short stay which included a day to Maria island. Cafe at Orford had great wood fired pizza - you need to order early during peak times. Accommodation had everything we needed plus more. Thanks for a lovely short break.

Over-rated one night stay.

We had had a torid time moving house and were looking forward to a well earned break and to attend a Whisky tour, but we had had no notifiaction of the location of the property or the key so when we arrived in pouring rain we had to contact Stayz to get the code to the key safe. We ended up talking to the host about how to get in but the key safe was so stiff that it took some time to get it to work. It had been raining all day and was very cold - 9oC. Water had poured down onto the front door step so that there was a huge puddle at the front door . The fire had been set but without any newspaper to get the fire to catch . Only one match! We had to go out to get paper and buy matchers to get the fire started. The shower for 2 tall people was terrible with the water making contact at about chest height - no holder for the soap/shampoo and a shower curtain which shed water all over the floor. No bed side lights in the master bedroom - overhead lights had to be turned off at the door then find one's way to bed in the dark. However the location was fantastic and the place was beautifully clean. Maybe a stay in summer would be better!!

Spring Beach is a truely magical spot. This villa sits on a spacious and private block amongst the trees and the birds yet looks directly over Maria Island and Spring Beach. You can do as much or as little as you like once you arrive. Walking the cliff tops, having a game of tennis on the full size court or just resting back on the deck watching and listening to the waves roll in.

This villa is located on spacious and flat block amongst the trees. It is immaculate and very well equipped. It has a fire for those cool nights and also captures all day sun. It's unique private location and the incredible outlook along with being very close to Orford and Hobart make this an ideal place to stay for a weekend or a month!
