We are glad you enjoyed your visit and would stay again, we apologize that you could not find the extra trash bags that were provided under the sink and the extra dish towels in the drawer, but a text message or a response to our phone calls (to see how your stay was) would have remedied that inconvenience. We feel it’s important to make ourselves available to guest for any and all questions. That is why we reached out to you during your stay and you did not response. You may not have wanted to talk, but these very reasons are why we call and text. We assume if you do not answer everything is going well. Look forward to your next visit.

First of all thank for choosing our home, we always want our guest to enjoy every aspect of their stay and strive to change things when they do not. To address the sofa, yes there is a small tear at the very back corner of the sofa that is stitched. The patch does not affect the ability to sit. There are 3 sofas in the home so there is plenty of seating. Regarding the kitchen chairs we messaged you asking if you wanted us to bring in the newly purchased chairs from the garage and you responded no, so we feel this comment was a bit disrespectful since we asked and you declined. Just as a side note the chairs have been replaced. We do understand the height of the table we sat down and it was uncomfortable, but we have made that adjustment with the new chairs. We do insist on speaking just before guest arrive to give codes and final instructions, it is your preference to feel that it was unnecessary, we feel it’s important not to have the conversation too early in the day things can happen on a trip and our conversation is fresh in your mind when you arrive at the house. In 4 years and 9 months we have never had a complaint about the cleanliness of our home, we have reviewed the cleaning protocols with our cleaning company and they assured us the floors were mopped. Light bulbs have been replaced in the (2) lamps. The beds are not new, but sturdy, mattress softness is a personal preference. You failed to mention finding the items left entailed to trips to the house because you could not recall where they were and they were finally found under the covers in one of the bedrooms. We try to go out of our way for our guest especially when they communicate with us their needs. Happy Travels

Everyone’s actions or reactions are based on previous experiences and we would be skeptical about anyone who stated otherwise. Yes, we ask questions because we try to get to know the people staying in our home. We also like to ensure our home is a good fit for our guests. We try to have 3 encounters with our guest once booked, at the start of the stay, once to check on any needs that may arise during the stay, and at the end to confirm all is well, which is what our encounters were with you, except for your question about the iron during the night. Our reluctance in regards to the iron is because our house rules state “an iron is to be requested before you check in”, so we can have it in the home before you get there, you sir assured us you had read the rules, yet you requested an iron at 11:33 pm which proves you in fact were not accurate in your declaration. Extra charges for various items are all made clear in the house details and nothing should have been a surprise (i.e. Washer and dryer, which during our conversations before checking in you stated you did not need). This is why we take great efforts to confirm that you are aware of how our house runs. We are saddened that you have taken such a position after your stay because we do want everyone to have a wonderful experience in our home. However during your visit you never implied any discontent (when we checked up on you) other than not requesting an iron in advance. We wish you and your group well in the future as you pursue other opportunities.
