Our pool is a major highlight, however:

The pool is not guaranteed as a year-round amenity
Typically too cool from approx. April/May–September/October
Heated via heat pump (weather dependent)
Usually warm during spring & autumn school holidays (guide only)

We are known to have one of the longest warm pool seasons in Yarrawonga, often earlier and later than others — but temperature cannot be guaranteed.

My family had a fantastic stay and the home was very well equipped. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the home was a bit ordinary.

Unfortunately, our regular cleaner was suddenly unwell and unavailable for approximately 10 days, and a replacement cleaner was arranged during this period. We sincerely regret that the cleaning standard fell short of what we and our guests have come to expect. We will be following up as we are very disappointed. We do wish you had contacted us during your stay, as we would have been more than happy to address any concerns and arrange for them to be rectified. Thank you again for your feedback. The property accommodated our large group really well, with plenty of beds that we found comfortable. It’s in a lovely, quiet location while still being relatively close to town, and the listing and photos were an accurate representation of the property. Communication with the host was easy and responsive, and the back deck was a great area for our group to enjoy.Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the standard of cleanliness. While the property was generally tidy, it didn’t feel as though it had been properly cleaned before our arrival. The floors were dirty and the carpets and rugs were quite dusty. We ended up sweeping the floors ourselves when we arrived.There were also a few things that really let the property down from a cleanliness perspective, including an empty Coke can underneath one of the beds, a used ear cleaner left on a bedroom dresser, and a used makeup remover pad left inside a bedroom drawer.Overall, the property itself suited our group very well and there were plenty of positives about our stay. However, for a holiday rental, we do expect to arrive to a properly cleaned property, and unfortunately the standard of cleanliness just wasn’t there.

The house was an excellent fit for us and our extended family. It was very hot so the aircon in all rooms worked a treat. The pool also was terrific for the kids.The dining room was great for sitting all the guests - 13 in total plus provided ample room for kids activities. The kitchen was also spacious providing ample room for meal prep.

From the time of booking and ongoing Alex has been a delight to communicate with. The few little hiccups on arrival were dealt with quickly and efficiently. That we were able to have our little dog with us over the weekend and that she was welcome in the home was a blessing. The 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms accommodated us all beautifully and as a result our family has rebooked for our 2026 gathering.

Absolutely Perfect!

Perfect set up for us with 20 adults enjoying our annual golf weekend away. Alex prepared the house to our liking and with everything in place we didn't have to leave the house. Too many options to point out but the layout of the house is very spacious with a large outdoor undercover decking BBQ area enjoyed by all. Oh yeah did I mention the pool which also got a workout and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Loved the place and our stay so much that we've decided to book the sane place annually. Thanks Alex!

Cleanliness

The house was good, but was not cleaned, there was hair and biscuits in the draws in bathrooms, dishes that still had food on them in the cupboards, coffee machines were dirty, the bbq was not cleaned, the outdoor area was dirty also. Showers had mould on them, disappointing really, needs a really good scrubbing.The screen doors didn’t close so there were bugs everywhere inside.

70th Birthday Trip full of memories (I will never forget)

Great getaway

Fantastic sized home with lots of space so you’re not sitting on top of each other we had a group of 16 stay and we all enjoyed our time in Yarrawonga. Communication was amazing and Alex was so helpful along the way with any planning or questions we may of had. If you were looking for a place to stay and get away with friends or family this is a place for you. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home we had a magical weekend and it was nice to finally catch up with all the ladies.

Amazing relaxing house

The house was even more then we expected! We loved that all the rooms had a shared ensuite. It is fully equipped with so much kitchen utensils. Alex was an amazing lovely host and we cannot thank her enough for going out of her way for us. Can’t wait for our next holiday.
