Carla’s Cottage has been operating since 2014 and we continuously strive to improve the cottage.
One night bookings are not available on weekends and special event weekends.
Carla's Cottage is situated on 33 acres of virgin bush land, just out of the village of Hill End on the Mudgee Road on Green Valley Creek a once bustling gold panning area.

The cottage is a remnant of this bygone era. It has recently been renovated to a standard that is suitable for guests to enjoy.

Carla's Cottage is fully contained self catering accommodation with two bedrooms, central bathroom/wc, kitchenette and a open plan dinning lounge room that suits two couples comfortably.
Light breakfast provisions are provided for the first morning.

Carla's Cottage is like a home away from home. All you need is food and drink and a change or two of clothes.
All linen and towels are supplied.
The kitchenette although small, is very functional and supplied with pots, pans, plates etc electric frypan, microwave, toaster, kettle and crockery. There is a gas BBQ on the side verandah.

Winter warmth is provided by an open fireplace, reverse cycle air conditioner, the beds have electric blankets and there is a heat lamp in the bathroom.

A great place to digitally detox and enjoy nature as there is no internet or TV or phone reception in the cottage.
Feel free to bring your own DVDs as Carla's Cottage does have a small flat screen TV/DVD player and a Bluetooth stereo.

Pets are more than welcome at Carla's Cottage; a small tariff is charged/pet/night. Please note that there is no fencing and plenty of wildlife, so bring a lead for your dog. There is a small secured area where pets can stay for short periods.

The area is great for gold panning and metal detecting, bush walking, birdwatching or just chilling on the verandah beside the creek, a true getaway into nature with most of the modern comforts, that is to say, there is no T.V., Internet or telephone, and an added bonus is that mobile phones don't work here either.

A leisurely 1 hour drive toward Mudgee will put you in the heart of the regions wine growing and Cellar Doors.

PLEASE NOTE : That bookings have a two night minimum
$240.00/use of one bedroom/night,
$290.00/night for 2 singles use of both bedrooms and
$420.00/night for "whole of house", eg two couples.

There is a surcharge of:-

$90.00/extra guest/night
$25.00/pet/night
