The bungalow has a fantastic layout and is very well equipped. We especially loved the main room facing the lake. The morning view was beautiful and very romantic. The owner was very responsive, and everything about our stay was excellent. We would definitely visit again.

Property was as described. We had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing stay. Host was most accomodating in dropping off to me an item we had left behind. Very good service.

Perfect Get Away Home

The place was clean and well stocked with every we needed for our 2 night stay. Check-in was easy and we really enjoyed the spot. No deck but the kayaks were easy to access and overall the place had a great territory homie feel.

Great location but accessing water was through mud..Cottage clean inside but outside deck was a bit shambolic with dead plants and dead plant roots hanging down so exterior ambience was not quite fitting of the serene location

Anzac weekend

We hired Jeannies place at the end of The Lake. Jeannie was a breeze to deal with and we enjoyed here piece of paradise for the weekend. The cabin is well set up with the large back deck and stunning views of the lakeI would definitely stay again

Relaxing weekend getaway

The house had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the large veranda with wonderful views of the lake. We had so much fun exploring the lake by canoe and kayak, hanging out on the veranda and playing the various card and board games available. Thank you!

The perfect location at the far end of the row of cabins. Such a peaceful place to observe the changing faces of the lake throughout the day. Will be back.

I didn't want to leave. The gorgeous view across the sparkling lake, the delicious breeze on the balcony, the choice of places to sit or lie and read or soak up the view, the view from each room of the lake, the beautiful tropical jungle hiding the house from the street. I've stayed in a few Lake Bennett houses and this is the jewel. It's super private, with a wide spacious verandah with huge solid wooden table for meals, and grassy areas next to the house if you want to soak up the sun. Tame kookaburras say hello and the biggest water monitor I've even seen sat in the sun at the water's edge. The house is very comfortable with everything you need to relax and self cater. It sleeps up to 5 (2 BR, 1 with QS bed, the other with QS bed and single bunk above). Jeannie is incredibly helpful, responsive and friendly. I want to tell everyone about this house but also want to keep it a secret it's so good! I can't wait to return.

The house and property were very spacious and relaxing, with a large veranda that overlooks the lake. We had everything we needed, including a gas BBQ. It was nice to stay in a real home, not just someone’s empty investment property. If we had time we would have liked to stay a few days longer and gone out on the lake in a canoe or kayak. It’s convenient to Litchfield NP.

Great location on the lake with a neighbour on one side only. Property had canoes and paddle boards.

Easy to communicate with property owner. Very clear instructions.

Serenity now!

A wonderful relaxing stay on the lake, perfect for getting away from it all! The house is spacious and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay (we did grocery shopping in Darwin on our way to the lake). Best part was lazing on the verandah taking in the tranquility and chilling out reading a book with a glass of wine.

A very relaxing spot!

The Lake House was exactly as described but we thought the highlight of the place was the HUGE deck. Various bits of comfy furniture for sitting and lying around with HUGE open views of the lake and far shores. As holiday-makers from Adelaide, we also used it as a base to explore Litchfield NP - a much easier day trip than from Darwin. The house has everything you need - including the all-important noodles for swimming in the lake and at Litchfield! Lovely to canoe all round the large lake in the late afternoon. Highly recommended

Lovely relaxing spot

Had a wonderful time at this house, lots of space to spread out, a wonderful view of the lake and very well stocked kitchen/lounge room/bathroom. The whole package!

Great holiday retreat

My family have stayed at this property twice now, and we love it! Our young boys enjoy the canoes and while my partner and I enjoy a few beers on the deck. It is becoming our home away from home.
