Welcome to your home away from home at ⭐Kensington Park ⭐ on Lansdowne Road, Kensington WA 6151—a centrally located, cosy, and well-equipped two-bedroom, one-bathroom standalone duplex 🏡 that offers comfort, convenience, and complete privacy just minutes from Perth’s vibrant city centre.

Guests love staying here because it’s more than just a place to sleep—it’s a peaceful retreat in one of Perth’s most desirable suburbs. Kensington is known for its quiet, tree-lined streets 🌳, friendly community, and unbeatable location. Just 6km from the CBD, you’re close enough to enjoy the city’s energy, yet far enough to relax in a safe, residential neighbourhood.

This semi-detached home is fully self-contained, meaning guests have the entire property to themselves 🔐—no shared walls, no shared spaces, just peace and privacy. The house is an older-style property, full of character and charm, but thoughtfully maintained to ensure a very comfortable stay. With two spacious bedrooms 🛏️, it’s ideal for families, couples, or professionals travelling together. The single bathroom 🚿 is clean and functional, with fresh towels and toiletries provided. The living area is warm and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing or work. The kitchen is fully equipped 🍳 with everything you need to prepare meals, and the laundry facilities make longer stays easy and stress-free.

One of the standout features is the huge enclosed backyard 🐾—a rare find this close to the city. It’s a secure space where kids can run freely and pets can play safely, giving families peace of mind and room to breathe. Property suited our stay perfectly, myself and my child. Location was good for the purpose of our visit and at the same time has easy access to Perth CBD and elsewhere. Property was compact, easy to keep tidy. Looks like recently been renovated. Only down side was cooker was difficult to figure out how to use at first and hot water in the bathroom sink seemed to be hit and miss, often seemed to run out quickly. No issues with hot water in shower or kitchen. Rated manager highly but din't have much interaction with them. Didn't need any communiction.

Cosy place to stay

This property was perfect for my stay. Well equiped with all the basics. Lovely and clean and very comfortable. Lots of fans to keep you cool in the wamer weather. A short walk to bus stops to take you into the city. Easy check in and Claire is an amazing host. Great communication and willing to help with anything you need to make your stay comfortable

We had a lovely stay. The house had everything we wanted including a yard for our dogs. It’s in a great location, right around the corner from a restaurant, a bakery and an IGA. Thanks Claire for being a great and very accomodating host.

A great little place in the heart of Vic Park/Kensington

This property is close to everything but has the convenience of off street parking and an outdoor area. Everything you need for a short or long term stay, and one of the few places that is pet friendly. We didn't have a pet, noticed no pet smell and place was very clean. Queen bed is firm but comfortable. Highly recommended.

Perfect location!

Thanks for a great stay Claire. It was the ideal location for me - easy to run back and forth from home (due to renovations). IGA and Cafe only a hop skip n a jump away. Gorgeous little cottage with big back yard and a REAL clothes line lol. Porch light was out, but Claire was onto it within hours. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if needed.

This was a pleasant old house, which was clean, quiet and very comfortable. It was right next to shops (IGA and a couple of cafe's), walking distance to the park which made exercising my dog easy.

As a duplex with only one shared wall, guests enjoy a high level of privacy and independence 🧘‍♀️. The home is older-style, full of charm and character, and carefully maintained to ensure a very comfortable stay 🌼. With two spacious bedrooms, a clean bathroom 🚿, and a warm living area, it’s perfect for relaxing after a day out.

The enclosed backyard is a standout 🌳—secure, spacious, and ideal for kids to play or pets to roam freely 🐕👧. Whether it’s enjoying a quiet moment in the sun ☀️, a game of catch 🎾, or sipping your morning coffee ☕ at George Street Café (just a minute’s walk away), the outdoor space adds a peaceful dimension to your stay. Meals and snacks are also conveniently available at the nearby delis and cafés 🍽️🛍️.
