The property is one spacious apartment that are fully furnished with a patio with hammock. The pool is relaxing and cool. The lawn flowered with shade to relax. this apartment room is $90.00 USD per night. The room accommodates 2 persons. Overnight stay is 2 nights at $200.00USD
There is a store room for surf boards and laundry room.
The apartment is two minutes from the bus stop and five minutes drive from
Miami beach, Oistins Bay and Silver Sands surfing bay.
All awesome entertainment and shopping is in Oistins Bay and of course delicious local dishes to enjoy.
The most well known beach for surfing in Barbados is at Round Rock beach Silver Sands.

The furniture, appliance and stuff needed to be updated and needed to be a little more clean. There was no towels in a situation like that I feel like they should provide towels other than that. It was a great day.

Nice and quiet!

I great location (close to Oistins). From there you can get anywhere on the island. Very wheelchair accessible.

I really enjoyed staying at this location and meeting the host and family. This apartment was close enough to walk to the bus stop to get to local shops and vendors. The apartment was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again

So tranquil

Was a lovely place to stay very peaceful and just a short ride on the bus to beaches and super markets. Harriet and Desmond were excellent hosts and nothing was a problem at all. Thank you for a lovely holiday will definitely be back… soon !! 😁

Would have appreciated an air condition since weather was hot, that the wifi was strong through the entire place and umm a more durable bedding. However couple was very nice, let us have a late checkout at no extra charge and accommodating

August Vacation

Harriet's apartment was super clean, well appointed and very comfortable. My wife and I were able to reach her whenever we had any questions. We will definitely stay here again, easy transportation options as well as clear information about getting to the property for the first time. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoyed the vegetation views. There was a small outdoor restaurant close to the property and we enjoyed very much everything about the stay. Don't hesitate to book this gem!

Nasty, nasty, nasty

This place was nasty and dirty. I’m going to download pictures soon I find out how. Even after I showed host, he kept saying he cleaned the place. Didn’t even try to rectify it. Crumbs in toaster oven, a years worth of dirt around kitchen and bathroom sink, shower filthy with hair and dirt. soap dish left with soap and hair stuck to it. top and behind toilet you can scrape the dirt off with a knife. Floors layered with dirt. The fridge not clean, freezer not thawed. The place was disgusting. Only place was nice was the pool.

I was surprised when I arrived as I wasn't sure what to do to check in but got it sorted. The rules of the house were confusing a little as it says no smoking but the sign is inside the house. The owner then told me I was in violation of the contract smoking outside on the porch. I enjoyed staying but it felt like I was staying with my parents as they live above the accommodation, so I felt like I couldn't be myself out of respect for them. Overall I enjoyed it and would stay again at this property. The owners are lovely people and the area is perfect. The buses are close and I felt safe walking around at night. :)

Absolutely terrible throughout. I didn’t even get the apartment I booked online.

The apartment was filthy. I had to clean the fridge before putting my food in it. The bed clothes smelt like they were not washed. The shower drain was blocked and dirty water with bits of debry and hairs floated up all so could not use. Trickling water from the shower head. Very poor WiFi kept cutting out...even for more than an hour at a time. The host said this has never happened before, but the daughter said the WiFi has always been a problem. If you only saw the hosts face, when her daughter said this. She didn’t know where to put it. When plugging in the TV there was a loud bang and loads of sparks due to a frayed cable. Could of got an electric shock! Very dangerous. And can you believe that the host said he would try and fix the faulty cable?The cooker was very filthy and also had dirty kitchen utilsels. I was also told I must pay extra a night to use the air conditioning??? So I only had one noisy old fan for the whole apartment and couldn't get a good sleep. Loads of flies and mosquitoes were having a party in the apartment. I couldn't stay another night there, no way! And to top it all I didn't get my refund due to me. I'm still owed money. The host said she could do nothing about it and I must take it up with vrbo. I have photos of the apartment but I cannot see where I can upload them on my review. You would be shocked! Please please please do not go there. The host is trying to take us travellers money to renovate their property because it really needs it. But no at my expense they won't! The host should be ashamed of herself! I really need to upload the photos to warn people not to book that place. The property is a health and safety hazard! Please rbvo, allow me to upload the photos I have. You can't advertise such a terrible property ripping of tourists. It's not right!
