Jetty View at Myponga Beach

Myponga beach is just 1 hour from Adelaide and with only only 47 houses on a 450 m north facing beach it is SA's hidden gem.

Jetty view is positioned on the beachfront overlooking the beach, jetty and at night the lights of Adelaide. The beach is calm for swimming at one end and has great fishing off the rocks around the jetty ruins at the other end.

Jetty view is a 20 year old white cabin with all modern furniture decorated for the owners comfort. One queen bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom both with water views. Linen is provided. The family room has a beautiful open fire and air conditioning. In front of the house is a 15m x 4m deck with a large lounge at one end, BBQ and table at the other both giving commanding views over the beach. In April 2022 the bathroom, laundry & kitchen were renovated.

The rates are Friday, Saturday nights and public holidays $365 per night and $295 for other nights. There is also a cleaning fee of $85. Special rates apply for Christmas, Easter and January.

Check in is tailored to weekend stay so check in at 6 pm and check out at 2 pm. That way you can leave Adelaide Friday night for an easy 1 hour drive, then settle in and wake relaxed to the sound of waves. If you would prefer you can request a 2 pm check in and 10 am check out.

For your added security, this property is only managed in Australia and we never request payments be made to overseas bank accounts. In case of COVID lockdown or boarder closure preventing your stay, a full refund will be given.

The property has an outstanding view across Myponga Beach & surrounds. It was super quiet & beach a safe swimming spot. The house has been modernised & offers all we needed for a beachside holiday.

Amazing location!

Great shack in a perfect spot. Small details could use some maintenance (fan switches, fly screens, broken pet door) but the lovely layout and well stocked kitched makes up for it. Floors etc. were very clean on arrival. We had a great stay!

Very happy with the place. Deck is a little weathered but having lived on a beach before this is to be expected and wasn’t a real issue. It’s a great place and have a great view and I’d definitely book to stay here again in the future

Best kept secret!

This location feels remote, but it is just an hour from Adelaide. The house is cosy and feels like you are floating on the ocean! Great hosts and a beautiful space to take time out,. When you are finished watching the water, see the city lights on the horizon and select from the amazing range of DVDs!

The Jetty at Myponga

Host fixed blocked hand basin and shower pooling in 3 hours. Very impressive response. Kitchen exceptionally well stocked. Absolute beachfront. Go to sleep with the sound of the waves.

Great spot!

From the cutlery to the artwork the property itself was so smart and lovely. Extremely clean.The location was amazing; sunset on the hills, moonrays on the ocean. We saw dolphins, pelican, birds; just great!The host was accommodating and very pleasant. Our favorite part? Hard to say, but relaxing on the sunlounges on the deck, drink in hand, looking at the ocean was pretty nice!We'll be back so we can enjoy the open fire in the winter.

Great view as promised Property absolutely adequate but quite run down unfortunately and in need of some attention to detail. Fly screens all need repairs as the mozzies came in for a feast and the property could do with a good tidy up and attention to the garden areas and deck. A comfortable stay nonetheless

Cottage nicely renovated inside. The deck, front door and grounds could do with some loving. Experienced a power outage in the area while there - which means no water or toilets (make sure you have some bottled water!)

Hidden Gem

Fantastic location. Secluded, private and with views to die for. Basic facilities but pretty much everything you need. Owner probably should have checked bbq gas bottle as it was empty. The house is in the process of some upgrades which are looking great. Probably could benefit from some attention to detail on cleanliness (and minor maintenance) to make it top class, but nothing we couldn’t deal with. Location, seclusion, access and views made for a fantastic weekend away.

Wonderful spot to stay

Peaceful stay, right on the water

We loved this property and the tranquility of Myponga Beach. A wonderful large deck with uninterrupted views and easy beach access for great swimming at high tide. The property was clean and well equipped. We will definitely come again.

Ideal house for a beach getaway

Perfectly located to take advantage of the view, the house is well appointed and very comfortable. A stunning deck to enjoy sunny weather and an internal fireplace for those cool, wet evenings. Will definitely visit again.

Beautiful location

A beautiful location with views of the sea, city and hills. A simple but comfortable dwelling with the added bonus of the front deck where you can sit out and enjoy the view. Good quality cookware and well equipped which was really appreciated. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. It really was a beautiful place to be. The only small negative for me was stains/marks on most of the towels there for us to use which made me wonder a bit about cleanliness. If that bothers you, just bring your own..
