Authentic Africa Hut and Local Host Family
Come enjoy a traditional African vacation including a wonderful host who will cook Swazi food for you and let you enjoy and be part of a real Swazi family, but you have separate quarters from the family. She will be your tour guide either using local transportation (kombies) or your rental car, take you to Mantenga Natural Village to see and participate in tribal dancing and learn of the culture and tour an original Swazi traditional home. The HomeAway hut you are renting is made of sticks and mud with a thatched roof iconic of African tribal life. It comfortably houses two adults but will smugly accommodate up to 2 children. A lot of people in a little house is customary of African culture. The hut is furnished with necessities and has clean, safe drinking water. It comes with a community outhouse, no bathroom (also part of African life). Electricity and WiFi available but cost extra. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to not just visit Africa, but be part of African day-to-day life. Hut available in warm weather which is September - February (seasons are reversed in the Southern Hemisphere).

I am a local go-go (grandmother) and we are raising many orphaned children in my large homestead. We are one big happy family and we want share our lives and culture with you. We eat simple foods, live uncomplicated lives, and do not have many modern conveniences, but we have a great time showing you and teaching you about Swaziland.

The homestead is large and rural. We have much land so decided to build a new hut the traditional way but with some modern conveniences such as electricity so that others could come and enjoy this beautiful country. This is not a resort like one you would book with your travel agent, it is an actual homestead in Africa.
O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
You are not tied to a tour schedule. You don't have to cook or go out to eat. This lodging comes with home cooked meals of our traditional local foods. If you have never used an outhouse, well, perhaps it is time you experienced it. I am available to be your tour guide daily. You must provide transportation or pay for the local kombie fare and admission to attractions. I know African history and can take you to places of your choice in Swaziland or South Africa. The border is only about 25 miles away.
