Welcome to our sweet home with nothing to do " Il Dolce Far Niente. This newly renovated modern home has all the conveniences one would ever need without the crowds, lines, traffic or check-in anxiety. Enjoy the scenic nature of the Butler Chain of Lakes while still being close to the parks, beaches , shopping outlets and universities. Rent a boat , jet ski or paddleboard and enjoy the spring-fed lakes and quiet nature that our town of Windermere has to offer or just do nothing. Need daily cleaning , not a problem, just let us know so we can accommodate your stay. Would you like a massage at home ,not a problem, this is available upon request. We want this to be a memorable , relaxing vacation. Home comes with washer/ dryer, high thread count bedding, TV, WIFI, AC, microwave, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. All furnishings are new and comfortable. Four bedrooms, two and one half baths call to book or ask questions (407)832-7120.

Fantastic Family Getaway

My boys and I thouroughly enjoyed this house. Talk about EVERY single detail thought of! We were even greeted with a lovely bouquet of flowers and chocolates. My son, 11, only wanted to go fishing for his Birthday and this property made his entire Birthday week a memorable one. The property is beyond beautiful, inside and out. The fishing from the dock didn't disappoint, I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Such a beautiful home!

From the moment that we made the reservation and were introduced to Janice we knew we had found the right place. The newly renovated home is modern and simple with all the amenities one needs to enjoy your relaxed vacation. And yet major attractions are never too far away. The home is right on the lake with a dock and fireplace sitting area. Boat rentals are available as well. Janice’s attentiveness to detail is the epitome of southern hospitality. Lots of amenities are provided so you’re not running to the store the moment you arrive. Large sitting area, modern kitchen, laundry area and lovely bedrooms. I wish Janice owned other properties we stay at. Sometimes the home is beautiful but the ownership is not so much. Not the case here! You will be well taken care of. Thank you Janice!

Be aware of cockroaches

Great views and very quiet with some birds as occasional guests. Quite unusual for rental homes the kitchen, laundry, bathroom and bedroom supplies were extensive. Janice was always reacting immediately and taking care of everything. A very unpleasant experience was the multiple meeting with cockroaches in the kitchen and one of the bedrooms during our longer stay. As we found several cockroaches in the kitchen cabinets, we assume that they find their way inside from the kitchen ground as also one of the kitchen baseboards was already removed. We didn‘ t ask Janice for help as we hate the use of chemicals in our surroundings. So we informed her at the end of our stay.

Amazing property with a great host! Very clean, spacious, beautiful sunrises over the lake, good fishing, and a quiet retreat less than 20 minutes away from the theme parks and convention center in Orlando.

Excellent Stay

Great location, went to Disney and SeaWorld easily. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood with plenty of amenities and things to do. Great view of the lake and can also see the beautiful LDS temple across the lake. House was tastefully renovated. Janice was also professional and easy to communicate with. Total recommendation here.

Backyard views upon views!!

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful backyard! Only issue is one of the cable boxes didn’t work but everything else was so perfect I didn’t want to bother the owner. I would 100% rent this property again!!

Fantastic Place to Stay

We came over to Orlando for a short golf weekend and this was such a fantastic place to stay. Great location to head towards downtown Orlando or Disney area. The home is as great in person as the pictures. Thanks for a great stay.

One of our Favorites

Before we even stepped foot on the property, we were in love with the charm of Windermere. The home itself couldn't have been more perfect. Being right on the lake, we took our bass boat and fished almost our entire stay. The views were our favorite part of the stay. We couldn't have asked for a better host than Janice and her family. She is right on top of every detail and was always available if needed. I can't brag enough about how well stocked the home was from the laundry to the kitchen to the bathrooms. Because the location is so centrally located, we made several trips during our stay, including Daytona, Univeral Studios, and Disney World. It's so fun to visit those places knowing you have a peaceful retreat away from the crowds awaiting your return. Best stay ever for us!

Weekend away

We had a lovely weekend in Windermere. The home has been redone inside and is very lovely. Beds are super comfy - and the view of the lake is stunning. The home is close to the West Orange Bike Trail. After biking - we loved sitting out by the fire pit. Janice is wonderful. I highly recommend this home. We hope to be back!!

Beautiful home with everything needed for a wonderful stay.

Lovely home in the heart of Windermere. It was clean, comfortable, modern with an open floor plan. Perfect for cooking and gathering. This home has everything you need with gorgeous views of Lake Down. We were able to keep our boat at the dock and enjoyed the fire pit. Located in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to downtown Windermere's restaurants, cafe, farmers market and wine shop.

Great place for a golf group

The house was great, clean and well maintained. It is a perfect place for a golf group, central to some nice golf courses with a lot of restaurants close by. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions.

Wonderful vacation home!

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. Janice was a prefect host. She respond quickly with any questions we had. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. A special treat was chocolate candy and bottled waters. We look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful Home & Location. Superb Host!

I can honestly say the owner of this home is hands down the most amazing host. She is a true testament to how a perfect vacation rental should be. She is very communicative and her attention to detail is second to none. We loved staying in her home. The home, grounds, dock, everything is first class. Beautiful, modern property

This house is well taken care of with all the amenities you would need away from home. We were comfortable and feeling like we were in the lap of luxury. The open floorplan allowed us to gather together and the view was fabulous! The house has been updated nicely with all new cabinets, island, furniture, lighting and beautiful baths. Everything down to the towels have been upgraded! The Hostess, Janice, made sure we had everything we needed, including a generous box of chocolates! We will want to stay there again and again!

We loved renovating our Il Dolce Far Niente, to bring it to life and make it a peaceful comfortable home for our visitors and friends. When we traveled with our now adult children, it seemed so stressful. Had I known about VRBO, we would have paid less and would have been more comfortable than a 2 bedroom hotel room with limited dining options. We want this to be an experience that you will remember and want to come back to visit.

Windermere is a tranquil place whose residents have been in this area for generations. Close to downtown Orlando , Universal, Sea World and Disney but far enough away from the tourist corridor and traffic. Put your feet up and watch nature go to sleep at the end of the day.
