David and Christine were wonderful hosts. We loved our Easter break and the kitchen was kitted out with everything we needed. I particularly loved the mid century modern furnishings and the place took me back to my childhood summer holidays. The house is a very easy walk to the beach and was also lovely and quiet. Thank you, we'll be back.

Claire and her family fully enjoyed the amenities that the Hideaway has to offer. They left the property in excellent condition and are very welcome to return.

Always nice to return to St Leonards hideaway

A lovely restful break is certain when staying at the hideaway. Peaceful, close to the beach, all we could want.

Peaceful and Cosy

We loved our 4 nights away over Easter. Really enjoyed the fire place at night, kids played cricket in the backyard, plenty of room for our dog to run around, and thoroughly self-contained. Thanks again, looking forward to coming again.

Fantastic house, location and amenities

We all had a wonderful break away, loved st Leonard’s, loved the hideaway so much. Communication with the owners minimal but positive. The house was very clean, nice and bright and comfortable we will definitely book again.

St Leonards is a unique location with Edwards Point Ramsar site and Swan Bay on its doorstep and we at the Hideaway try our best to build on that. We are chuffed you had a great holiday.

Lovely week spent a hideaway

We really enjoyed our family stay at the hideaway. Our dog loved the garden. It is a beautiful and comfortable home with all you need and so close to the beach you can hear the waves when you step outside. David and Christine were very welcoming hosts.

Thankyou to the hosts for their welcome treats and responsiveness. Between the air conditioning, fans , and good flyscreens we were able to beat the heat and the mozzies. Our medium sized Labradoodles were well contained, and quickly learned to use the magnetic door screens to come and go. While we were initially concerned about a single bathroom and toilet for a family of five, having separate amenities was fine Thankyou for a lovely week away. We love the quiet Milly beach for family and dog time without the crowds xoxo

Little gem in St Leonards

We’ve stayed in a few properties in and around St Leonards in recent years and have to say, this property is a stand out for us! This is a great little house that’s clean, comfortable and well equipped. There’s plenty of room outside in the shady garden and space to park a trailer if you’re travelling to St Leonards for fishing. We'll definitely be trying to book this property in the future!

Heaven in St Leonards

The only think I am disappointed about is that I could not give more than FIVE STARS. We enjoyed our stay beyond description. It was truly a little piece of heaven hidden in St Leonards made better by the effort made by the wonderful hosts.

At Leonards

Nice place, close to beach and walks- excellent for being able to unwind and relax. Everything is super clean and the place is well stocked with everything you need. Christine and David were easy to deal with and excellent communicators.

Delightful holiday house in a great location

Return stay having first visited in April 2016. equally as enjoyable this visit. Comfy, old style beach house which suits all of our needs. Great, quiet location, short walk to the water. Lucky to have a house where we are allowed to have our hounds. Always appreciated. Big garden, very private. Look forward to returning again.

The Hideway is where the heart is

The Hideaway was incredibly peaceful and cosy. All the quaint touches make it feel like you're stepping into your family home. The bed was extremely comfortable; I woke every morning feeling rested. The garden and surroundings provide some much-needed connection with nature; even my dog was calmer from sniffing around and playing ball in the backyard. Thank you, David & Christine, for sharing your home with others to enjoy.

Amazing Lower Bluff Retreat

The property had everything you could ask for. Sitting on the front deck surrounded by trees made us feel like we could be in the hills. But 5mins away was the beach. In every direction were wonderful and completely different walks. What was striking was how quiet it was. Finally the communication by the property owner could not be faltered and they did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. I could not recommend this getaway highly enough

The Lower Bluff is a special area of St Leonards, with its own beaches, dog areas and natural surrounds. Having a large block and being surrounded by neighbours who also appreciate the quiet ambience is a plus for people like us who enjoy the peace, the walks, the beach and having their dogs with them.
