CLOSEST PET FRIENDLY COTTAGE TO THE TOWN CENTRE!

Our beautiful self contained limestone cottage, with fully enclosed, secure backyard, accommodates couples and their loyal canine friends. With walks from the door step down to the Margaret River, bush walks along the 'Wadandi Track' track, and a 15-20 minute walk to town. Our cottage is fully self contained, equipped with air fryer convection oven and hotplates, BBQ, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, fireplace and TV with DVD player. The bedroom has a queen bed, and lounge a sofa bed for extra guests. Extra guests charge is $30 per person per night. There is a lounge with dining area and bathroom with washing machine

Happy Dogs is only a short drive to the beach, and beach front cafes the 'White Elephant' and 'Sea Gardens'. Take a surf at one of the world's best surf breaks or hire a canoe or paddle board and explore the Margaret River.

Located in the heart of Margaret River, wineries are in abundance. Happy Dogs is close to the exclusive wineries of Cape Mentelle, Voyager Estate and Leeuwin Estate. Popular with the tourists is taking a drive up Caves Road experiencing many wineries, the chocolate factory, venison farm, cheese factory and the olive oil soap factory to name a few. Or head South towards Augusta to experience one of the regions fascinating caves, the Boranup Forest and Hamelin Bay.

Pet Friendly

Happy Dogs encourages you to bring your dog with you on your holiday. The cottage is fully fenced and very secure for your canine pal.

There is information in the cottage regarding local dog walks, the dog beach, and dog friendly cafes, restaurants, wineries and breweries. We can point you in the direction of lovely bush walks from the doorstep of Happy Dogs.

Dogs are ok to be inside with you when you are at the cottage but we request that dog are outside in the secure and private yard when alone. If your dog cannot manage to be left outside or is likely to bark continuously please leave them in the spacious bathroom with their bed and water.

The Neighbourhood

The cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful street. Due to our close proximity to town we do have neighbours so there may occasionally be neighbourly noises such as children playing and lawn mowers.

Please also respect our neighbours and avoid your dogs barking when you are out. Bring toys, bones, their own bedding etc.

Happy Dogs was perfect for our mini escape with our fur-child. Rachel was very welcoming (& the eggs were a nice touch). The cottage was very clean and comfortable, with a sizeable yard for the dog. Close to all Margaret River attractions. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Lots of little but important items catered for. Very clean. Dog friendly, great log burning fire as it was winter, good location short drive from town, prevally beach and lots of walking trails. Would be equally wonderful in the summer. Owners were attentive upon arrival and upon leaving. All in all, a wonderful cozy stay.

Fabulous, it was really good for my two dogs. The enclosed backyard was great bigger than our ownHas all the amenities you need very comfortable. Lovely Getaway

Stayed 4 nights with our furbabies, couldn't fault anything.Accommodation was clean, check-in was very easy, hosts were easy to contact and friendly, had everything a great BnB should have plus more. A great getaway!

This place ticked all the boxes and there was nothing we needed that was not available. Clean, fresh and quiet with a wonderful view of the sunrise through the trees each morning. Enjoyed the nearby walking trails. Ollie the Collie thought it was 'furry' good too and like us, is very much looking forward to staying again.

Two nights with dog

Very clean and well appointed property and a fabulous base to walk to river and the Rail and Trail "Wadindi" track too. Secure yard for our dog so we could sit outside with him and relax. So good to find a place that is dog friendly. We will be back.

Relaxing cottage for us and the Beagles.

We arrived late Thursday afternoon and checking in to the cottage couldnā€™t have been easier. The Beagles went straight out to the secure backyard and instantly we all felt very relaxed. The location to town was perfect and the recommended trail walk had the dogs putting themselves to bed each night before us. We highly recommend Happy Dogs cottage and look forward to more visits in the future. Thank you for having us!

Perfect furbaby pad!

This little home away from home was perfect for both ourselves and our furbabies. Happy dogs is a simply furnished but well equipped cottage set behind the owners property. It is very comfortable, has a fantastic closed in garden and is super close to river walks and doggie swims (a must for any Labrador) and to the town. Rachel is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We will definitely be staying here again ā¤ļø

Happy Days, Happy Dogs

Ideal place to stay for a couple of days with our two dogs. Great to have a fully enclosed back yard for them, they loved it. Comfy bed and no trouble sleeping. Unfortunately the couch was too low for me, trouble getting up off it with my bad knees, everything else was great! Thanks a lot, we'll come back!

Ideal one-bedroom cottage close to Main Street and within reasonable driving distance to wineries, breweries etc, if thatā€™s your thing. Great walking trails for dog walking and exercise. The cottage is located to the rear of and in very close proximity to the owners home, but it has its own private secure backyard. Whilst the cottage doesnā€™t have a built in doggy door, the owner provided a removable dog door for our stay, which was ideal for our two small dogs.
