The property was very nicely done, very clean & comfortable.

Loved that it was close to Colfax & all the restaurants. Only critique would be that the side walk should be repaired.

Wonderful House in Whittier

Modern with a touch of old

Beautifully decorated with uniqueness in every room. Absolutely recommend for someone that has or ever witnessed a home renovation. Located perfectly close to downtown, union station, etc. yet far enough to have the residential vibe. park across the street and perfect for early morning walks.

Vacation enhancer

It's not too often the vacation home enhances the trip but this place definitely did! Not only is the property decorated with such fun style, it is very clean and comfortable. No problem with on-street parking in a very quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to restaurants and brewpubs. We especially enjoyed the Walnut Room for salads and pizza. Walking distance to the train as well. I also appreciated the key-less entry.

The perfect family vacation home in Denver

Quirky, cool and memorable, this home truly is a wonder. It is filled with beautiful art, found objects and antiques but never feels cluttered. Instead, you will end up exploring every nook and cranny during your stay, taking photographs of each room, and having a conversation starter for the rest of your life as you tell everyone about this funky, comfortable renovated old house you once stayed in while visiting Denver. Don't hesitate for a minute to book, you won't regret a vacation here!

Amazing house, great location!

This little house is beyond charming. We were blown away by the attention to detail. It's so cozy and cool. We just loved it. On top of the charm, it was right in the heart of all things Denver, and we were just a few minutes away from Coors Field and the Zoo and so many great neighborhood gems. Lynette's guide to the local restaurants was perfect. We would DEFINITELY stay here again. (It's also inspired us to completely redecorate :) )

Cute, cute, cute

What a cute place. The pictures don’t do it justice, especially upstairs. Lynette clearly put a lot of thought, creativity, and heart into renovating and decorating the property. The location was convenient too, both for walking to the Five Points commercial area and driving or taking an Uber downtown. And thank you for the recommendation on the Rolling Pin Bake Shop. We had to go there two days in a row. Yum!! Overall, staying here was a first rate experience and a great value. I would definitely stay here again.

Believe the hype! This house is great.

Whittier Wonder was a fantastic home base for our family of 4. It is in a perfect location for visiting Denver and surrounding areas (e.g., great hiking within an hour) and the house itself is beautiful and comfortable. I’ve rented many VRBOs over the years and this was definitely one of the nicest. Renovations are perfect and the house has updated furnishings and bedding, lots of fluffy towels, A/C, and comfy couches (tv room now has love seat - not in pics). The owner provided things like soap, paper towels, and even coffee (I’ve been to places where I had to buy my own dish towels!). It was very clean too.

Really cute and nice

It was great... only wish you would paint something cute on the floor going to the downstairs bathroom... even tho you know it’s there it’s such a liability for you ... we near wiped out many times. They are not couches but love seats... otherwise it was great!!

Fantastic property for a Denver getaway!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. Walking into the property further wowed us with the attention to detail, love and care that was put into regenerating this classic home as well as decorating it. All rooms were beautifully appointed, very clean and well stocked. Each room had its special gems and unique features stemming from the original bones. Beds were comfortable, linens were fully stocked and cozy. Even staples in the kitchen for your un-thought of or ad hoc needs. Located about 10 minute drive from downtown, great location. Wonderful backyard for hanging outside. Nothing but praise!

A Denver Gem!

Whittier Wonder is so cute and comfortable. Our family of four fit perfectly. The house has all of the right amenities to make the stay extra comfortable. Especially love the attention to detail. Keurig WITH coffee. Plenty of towels. Comfie beds. Up to date lighting on dimmers. Easy security. Washer dryer. Love the book about the house. Love the doorbell. Love the kitchen. Easy host. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

Ah....mazing! Outstanding property.!!!

Wow! When I saw this property online I knew I had hit the jackpot & boy was that prediction on point. Lynette has lovingly & creatively restored this 1885 home into a masterpiece. Her attention to detail is astounding. There is nothing she hasn't thought of. Her place is a feast for the eyes wherever they may wander. The antiques are amazing & the entire property is impeccably clean. There were certainly many wows out of our mouths & we would love to stay in this home forever. Run do not walk to book this property. You will want for nothing. Nice linens & towels, locally made snacks & Keuig pods o plenty, grass fed yogurt & organic milk in the fridg. A great sound box by Marshall....amazing sound. A quiet backyard retreat complete with table, chairs, & grill. The list goes on & on & on.... We flew in from Montana for a concert & wanted to stay close to the venue. The "Whittier Wonder" house elevated our trip to a whole other level. We will definitely stay here again assuming it's available. I foresee this home bring booked up once the word is out. Thanks Lynette!

Perfect Pinterest House

My husband and I so enjoyed this beautifully remodeled and furnished house in a Denver neighborhood close to town. You get to live in the history of Denver. The street parking was no problem and always close. The owner of this house took great pride making this the perfect lodging for exploring her town and state. It was so cleverly furnished with bits from history, I felt like posting every view from every room on Pinterest. With three bedrooms (all upstairs sharing a very nice bathroom), a family or small group of friends can live comfortably while exploring Denver or close parts of Colorado. The kitchen was cute with a bistro table but also a full dining room. Two small living areas were nicely done, one having a TV and the other for conversation. The half bath on the main floor was handy. We enjoyed sitting in the patio furniture in the fenced in back yard each evening. The house is nicely accommodated with plenty of linens for all guests and even a laundry closet. This is not a big house but each room is perfectly used to accommodate every need. It would seem smaller with more people but was absolutely roomy for the two of us. I've rented many houses for travel over the years, but this one stands out by far. I would book it first on my next trip to Denver. Thanks for letting us stay in your home, Lynette; I appreciate all your work to transform this labor of love into the perfect home away for all us travelers!

Getaway Dream

Lynette, is a super host and a wonderful person. Did everything to make are stay pleasant. The pictures on her site doesn't do this home justification. This renovation was a project of love and it shows in the finished product. and her staging of her home is of JoAnna Gaines caliber. Looking forward to going back to Denver to stay here again, not sure if I should take my wife. It might cost me several honey-does

I restored this 1885 Victorian, hoping to stir your creative juices with an eye towards beautiful historic artifacts, artwork and whimsical charm. She's an incredible original and I can't wait to hear your first impressions of my home!

The Whittier Wonder is centrally located. Walk to local coffee shops, really great restaurants or enjoy the nearby Denver Zoo or the Museum of Nature and Science. Come and work from home for a month or for however you like. I can't wait to host you!

Travel themed TV room has all the apps to enjoy the streaming of your shows. The central AC will keep you cool in the summer. Gorgeous hardwood floors and brand new carpet. Nest thermostat. Fully renovated in 2016 with an eye towards detail and charm. Cozy in the winter and cool in the summer. Custom artwork and antiques everywhere will astound and inspire you. Relax in the leather chairs and plan out your day!
