With 26 acres to explore, you’ll find shady groves of towering redwoods on one side and a peaceful 8-acre vineyard on the other. Start your mornings with sunshine on the kitchen patio, spend afternoons relaxing by the creek on the larger patio, and enjoy walks on the many trails throughout the property. Just 15 minutes from both Glen Ellen and Santa Rosa, 30 minutes to Sonoma square, and 45 minutes to Napa Valley, this is the perfect spot to enjoy nature, good company, and all that wine country has to offer. No pets.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after our days exploring Sonoma and Napa wine country. The vineyard and surrounding scenery were absolutely beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor amenities, including the firepit and grill. It was such a peaceful setting and a fantastic home base for our trip with friends. We made some wonderful memories and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This was such a beautiful home in a great location! The property is even more beautiful than the photos show. The home is very large and comfortably held our group of 7 for the weekend. The outdoor spaces are spacious, easily accessible, and were perfect for yard games and hanging out after dinner. We loved it here and highly recommend this property for any family or friend vacations!

Really nice place on a vineyard with a beautiful backyard surrounded by redwoods. It was a great spot to relax and enjoy the setting. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with, especially during a one-day power outage. Overall a comfortable stay and a great location.

Lovely Return Visit

We have stayed at this property several times and love the peacefulness and beautiful surroundings. This is a great place for families with kids. They can roam around freely and ours especially love biking around the property. We hope we can return again next year.

My co-worker stayed in this gorgeous home . The home is amazing and the photos do not do it justice . I can’t wait till I can have another get-a-way in Napa so we can stay here again !!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is spacious and very comfortable. The grounds are incredibly beautiful. So quiet and private yet close to wineries, shops etc. Shawn was great to work with. Will definitely return.

Best Vacation Ever!!!

The Home is beautiful and the property is gorgeous. Great space for the whole family and room for gatherings inside and out. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed and was always available for questions. We will always stay here when we come home to see family. We couln't be happier with our choice when picking this wonderful place.

Wonderful family spot

Three generations and we all loved it. Beautiful vineyard and woodsy property for nature walks. Lots of equipment and toys for the kiddos. Close enough but far enough from Santa Rosa to both enjoy the area/restaurants/parks while enjoying countryside quiet. House well equipped and family-friendly. Would definitely reserve again.

Absolutely wonderful stay in the vineyards and redwoods

This is an amazing property. The grounds are just stunning with the vineyards, redwoods, and a creek. Wonderful to explore and walk around. The house is very spacious and laid out well, especially for our group which consisted of adults and a 1.5 year old. Communication with the hosts was incredibly easy and they were super helpful and friendly. Pictures do not do this place justice - it's even nicer than it looks! Highly recommended.

Enchanted Forest & Beautiful Vineyards

Welcome to the enchanted forest with acres of vineyards. Walking trails with the most breathtaking scenery. House was great for the little ones and adults. Owner even came by and dropped off water guns and water balloons for the kids. House had everything and was missing nothing. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location.

This house and property are truly enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful and very relaxing. The house was well set up, comfortable, well equipped and had a great layout. It was out in the country but not too far. We have three children all different ages and everyone loved it!!! Internet and cell service are not great and TVs were a bit problematic but those were the only issues we encountered. The owner is super nice and we were perfectly comfortable there. The redwoods and landscaping are amazing. A very enjoyable stay!

I am sorry that you had some issues with the cell phone, Internet ant TV. I wish you had told me right away and I could at least remedy the TV issue. ATT cell service is great at our house, with Verizon a little lower quality and Sprint also not that good. I checked the TV which is provided through Dish network satellite and all four TVs worked fine on HD. No issues at all and all premium movie channels were working. Our internet is the best DSL provided by ATT. Unfortunately there is no cable and high speed internet available there. Therefore streaming may not be that good. Again I am sorry for your issues and I will do my best to make sure to improve the part I can manage to do.

The Greyshock Family and Friends, party of 10 Adults

This Home and Setting could not have been more Perfect! What could be more Welcoming than arriving to a gorgeous, spotlessly clean, well stocked Home with a beautiful kitchen, nestled within a mini Forest of towering Redwoods, surrounded by well tended Vineyards, with a Creek running through the property! The outdoor viewing, entertainment and relaxing areas with plenty of seating and outdoor heaters, were perfect for our large party of 10 adults. We all enjoyed ourselves, and appreciated everything extra that this owner did to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! All was spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and great living and conversation areas. The owner was very prompt with his response to our reservation request, we received great follow ups and a detailed check in "package". Thank you Shawn for the wonderful bottle of wine that awaited us! We would recommend your "Home within a Vineyard" to anyone looking for a unique and special place with no worries "attached"!

Perfect friends staycation!

We came with 2 of our close friends and their families. The place was absolutely perfect for the adults and children. Feels totally remote but yet it is close proximity to anything you need. The house had everything we needed to relax while the kids played their hearts content for hours on end. It is obvious this place is well loved and has played host for many cherished memories. We can not wait to come again!

Great Family Reunion Getaway

This is our second time at this property and we continue to love the beautiful surroundings and privacy. Our kids love exploring the grounds, biking, playing ping pong and using the toy car. We all enjoyed the stay. It felt like a clean and comfortable home away from home. The host’s availability shows his consideration for his guests.

Outstanding home and property.

We are grateful to Shawn and his family for sharing their beautiful home with our family. The house is spacious, clean, well equipped with anything you could need, and very comfortable with many personal touches. The property is a gorgeous fantasy land for children with a creek, bridges, trails, a great swing set, redwood trees and vineyards. Family trip

We toured several wineries in the Napa area with our adult children and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing house set in the middle of the owners’ vineyard. Despite pouring rain one day that curtailed our plans, we had a wonderful trip and this property and the owners were a big part. We highly recommend it to any Napa area travelers.

Wonderful venue for family wedding-related gathering

We were two couples and three singles, staying in this wonderful spot over four nights, connecting to our son's wedding celebration in Sonoma Valley. The accommodations were quite comfortable in every way. Although for the most part we used the kitchen and outdoor cooking facilities sparsely (mostly for breakfasts, and for snacks), our host did permit us to host an evening dinner in the well-appointed back-deck area, with ample seating and cooking facilities, set amid the redwood trees. The weather was perfect, so when added to the quality of the home the dinner and overall evening were also perfect. I am grateful to the owner for permission to host this family event. The home is set not only amid redwood trees, but also in the middle of the Moaveni Vineyard operation. We sampled several of the wines bottled by the owner, and found them to be excellent. As the Syrah grapes were nearing their harvest-time, the setting became even more picturesque and compelling. Though the home does not have air conditioning, and though most of our days spent there were temperate overall... yet, the first day was quite warm; even so, the home remained pleasant throughout the day and evening, because of its setting in the surrounding redwoods. The balance of shade and sun is wonderful. We no longer have young children, and don't yet have grandchildren, but it's clear the property could accommodate young children quite readily.
