With 26 acres to explore, you’ll find shady groves of towering redwoods on one side and a peaceful 10-acre vineyard on the other. Start your mornings with sunshine on the kitchen patio, spend afternoons relaxing by the creek on the larger patio, and enjoy walks on the many trails throughout the property. Just 10 minutes from both Glen Ellen and Santa Rosa, and only 30 minutes from Napa, this is the perfect spot to enjoy nature, good company, and all that wine country has to offer. No pets

Really nice place on a vineyard with a beautiful backyard surrounded by redwoods. It was a great spot to relax and enjoy the setting. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with, especially during a one-day power outage. Overall a comfortable stay and a great location.

Absolutely wonderful stay in the vineyards and redwoods

This is an amazing property. The grounds are just stunning with the vineyards, redwoods, and a creek. Wonderful to explore and walk around. The house is very spacious and laid out well, especially for our group which consisted of adults and a 1.5 year old. Communication with the hosts was incredibly easy and they were super helpful and friendly. Pictures do not do this place justice - it's even nicer than it looks! Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is spacious and very comfortable. The grounds are incredibly beautiful. So quiet and private yet close to wineries, shops etc. Shawn was great to work with. Will definitely return.

Best Vacation Ever!!!

The Home is beautiful and the property is gorgeous. Great space for the whole family and room for gatherings inside and out. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed and was always available for questions. We will always stay here when we come home to see family. We couln't be happier with our choice when picking this wonderful place.

Wonderful family spot

Three generations and we all loved it. Beautiful vineyard and woodsy property for nature walks. Lots of equipment and toys for the kiddos. Close enough but far enough from Santa Rosa to both enjoy the area/restaurants/parks while enjoying countryside quiet. House well equipped and family-friendly. Would definitely reserve again.

Lovely Return Visit

We have stayed at this property several times and love the peacefulness and beautiful surroundings. This is a great place for families with kids. They can roam around freely and ours especially love biking around the property. We hope we can return again next year.

Perfect friends staycation!

We came with 2 of our close friends and their families. The place was absolutely perfect for the adults and children. Feels totally remote but yet it is close proximity to anything you need. The house had everything we needed to relax while the kids played their hearts content for hours on end. It is obvious this place is well loved and has played host for many cherished memories. We can not wait to come again!

Trip of a lifetime

Great Family Reunion Getaway

This is our second time at this property and we continue to love the beautiful surroundings and privacy. Our kids love exploring the grounds, biking, playing ping pong and using the toy car. We all enjoyed the stay. It felt like a clean and comfortable home away from home. The host’s availability shows his consideration for his guests.

Amazing place to enjoy Sonoma

Enchanted Forest & Beautiful Vineyards

Welcome to the enchanted forest with acres of vineyards. Walking trails with the most breathtaking scenery. House was great for the little ones and adults. Owner even came by and dropped off water guns and water balloons for the kids. House had everything and was missing nothing. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location.

Outstanding home and property.

We are grateful to Shawn and his family for sharing their beautiful home with our family. The house is spacious, clean, well equipped with anything you could need, and very comfortable with many personal touches. The property is a gorgeous fantasy land for children with a creek, bridges, trails, a great swing set, redwood trees and vineyards. Family trip

We toured several wineries in the Napa area with our adult children and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing house set in the middle of the owners’ vineyard. Despite pouring rain one day that curtailed our plans, we had a wonderful trip and this property and the owners were a big part. We highly recommend it to any Napa area travelers.

Wonderful venue for family wedding-related gathering

We were two couples and three singles, staying in this wonderful spot over four nights, connecting to our son's wedding celebration in Sonoma Valley. The accommodations were quite comfortable in every way. Although for the most part we used the kitchen and outdoor cooking facilities sparsely (mostly for breakfasts, and for snacks), our host did permit us to host an evening dinner in the well-appointed back-deck area, with ample seating and cooking facilities, set amid the redwood trees. The weather was perfect, so when added to the quality of the home the dinner and overall evening were also perfect. I am grateful to the owner for permission to host this family event. The home is set not only amid redwood trees, but also in the middle of the Moaveni Vineyard operation. We sampled several of the wines bottled by the owner, and found them to be excellent. As the Syrah grapes were nearing their harvest-time, the setting became even more picturesque and compelling. Though the home does not have air conditioning, and though most of our days spent there were temperate overall... yet, the first day was quite warm; even so, the home remained pleasant throughout the day and evening, because of its setting in the surrounding redwoods. The balance of shade and sun is wonderful. We no longer have young children, and don't yet have grandchildren, but it's clear the property could accommodate young children quite readily.

Wine Country Wedding

We were in town for our oldest son’s wedding. The property was absolutely beautiful! There were many friends and family there for the wedding and everyone thought we had the best rental of the group. The hosts were very helpful with any questions that came up.

Perfect family getaway

We stayed here as a family of ten, ranging from grandparents to grandchildren and everyone loved this place. Beautiful setting, fully stocked and very responsive property manager. We would definitely stay here again.

A "Same Time Next Year" Experience if we could

We brought our group of 5 adults and 3 children plus 2 out of town relatives who slept elsewhere but joined us for dinners. It was the PERFECT place for our family who had not been together since the beginning of Covid to reconnect. Some of us had not seen each other in 2 years. The experience for adults and children alike was near-perfect. Our suburban grandchildren (ages 8 - 11) had the time of their lives without having to be entertained by electronics or adults, and they kept going from dawn until well after dusk. One of the biggest pluses for us adults was being able to relax and let them run, scream and yell with laughter (and they were LOUD), knowing that they weren't bothering a soul. They loved the sports equipment, the battery powered car, the swings, racing down the driveway, taking walks on the property, running down the hills in the vineyard, foosball, the extensive Legos, and especially playing with Milo, the most loving farm dog you could imagine (although he is playful and thought our grandson's bike helmet was a chew toy). We adults enjoyed the serenity and sheer beauty of the property - the vineyards, the redwood trees, the gorgeous hydrangeas, the trails, etc. Our adult kids spent a day wine tasting while the grandkids played with Grammie & Grandpa, and we all spent one day at Safari West, which we all enjoyed, but I think the kids would have been just as happy to have spent the day playing at Moaveni Vineyards. Owner Shawn and his wife Mimi were so kind and just amazing - responsive but not instrusive in the least - and loaned us equipment from their own house if it wasn't already at the vineyard house. We were there during part of a heat wave and Shawn even bought our kids Super Soakers and let us set up an inflatable pool, which the kids totally loved. The house is spacious, with the master bedroom and bath (and the half bath close to the kitchen/dining room) in one wing of the house, and the other 2 bedrooms, full bath, and the kids' playroom/bedroom in the opposite wing of the house, which made for a lot of privacy, especially for us grandparents. The house had plenty of soaps, detergents, foil and wrap, and paper products, which we appreciated. There were also masks, rubbing alcohol, and Clorox wipes available. We would stay at Moaveni vineyards every year if we could. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying every minute. Thank you, Shawn and Mimi!
